think is time to wash ur carp and redo the timing... might help i think... cause i use to have the same problem... after i wash my carp then ok liao..

 

before we talk further, FZ1N does not have CARP. It doesnot have CARB either. Its FI. If you dunno what the CRAP you are talking about, then please refrain from replying cos you are talking CRAP.

Maybe he mistaken cos from what i see he riding a Gen 1 fz which is carburetor. Gen 2 2006-2009 is called Gen2 = fuel injected.

Throttle bodies are synced by using a set of four vacuum gages and adjusting the linkage to give equal readings on all 4 cylinders.

Why do it....in a word...smoothness of operation.

All cylinders get the same shot of fuel so if one is out of sync it is getting the wrong mix.

Do a check on your plug coils (The long black tubes on top connected to ur spark plugs).Total 4 pcs. Maybe one of them is dead.. Happened to me once long ago.. took some time to find out the fault.

hi guys....i being riding FZ1N till mileage abt 50000 km. Currently experiencing a sudden slow down of speed when i drag my 1st, 2nd or 3rd gear and hit ard 2000 - 3000rpm. It usually happens when i just start up my bike after few hours. It will back to normal once after few mins of riding when the bike become warm. Sometimes i just start the bike.....the idling oso unstable then dies off.....and need to start a 2 to 3 times then ok. Some ppl say my idling was too loud, but i follow the manual which stated 1100 to 1300rpm. i havent do any valve clearance since i bought the bike.

 

wat could be the major problem?

 

Solutions:

check the 4 plug heads

throttle balancing

lastly valve clearance?

 

need advice from u all experience fazer1000 riders. thanks alot!

Take a look at the video,it will tell you more on throttle body sync.The main purpose is to balance the same amount of air flow into your cyclinder via the throttle body.Just get yourself a carbtune and do it yourself.I did it for my FZ6S and it just took about half an hour for the whole process.

i'm trying to get contacts to import the brand new smoked LED tail lights with integrated signal lights from US in small bulks. it's compatible from '03 to '08. the price motoWorld is selling is SGD150 but i'm able to get it around SGD110 to SGD120 inclusive of shipment with the minimum of 4 pieces.

-Check your air filter..when is the last time u clean it?

 

-Change spark plug...it may be something going on with the plugs..

 

- No point doing the throttle balancing...just ride..

 

- mine going to be 80,000 i still have not done anything to it..and i keep riding..really sinful..
