The clicking sound appears as soon as the bike is started. Hong Leong realised it needs new shim. They also replaced the cam chain tensioner. I would say these are normal wear and tear parts when bike is in 50,000km mark.

 

And remember to change oil every 1000km to avoid top end damages. Our bikes are hi-rev type, so it really needs top-grade oil all the time. Our bikes also tend to run hot, so the oil will break down easily. To save money, i use cheap and good oil like Amsoil.

 

 

hey bro terri, can i check with you... your clicking sound does it occurs when you leave it in neutral.. ?

I'm experiencing a clicking sound everytime my bike is in neutral.. but when i clutch in... there's no sound..

Is this normal ?

I have just been told that my rear wheel axle has been overtightened (Previous owner changed tyres at Lim Ah Boy) and its damaged. It has to be replaced at $80. Damn....

i bought mine at $810 last year exclu NCD and i'm 27 years of age...

i was also frustrated of NTUC... i ever got quote from them... it's a freaking $1100! OMG!

u can contact the call center at 6419-3000... i duno if u need to add in a 1800 or not... try checking that out...

Back in 2006 wen i was riding my S4, i wen to Martin Rd AIG but was told by one of the staff to go over to ANDA insurance at Thomson Rd coz ANDA is incharge of Motorcycles insurance policies on behalf of AIG.

So much trouble n time wasting.

I'll definately be convenient if i can just drop by AIG Martin Rd to get the new insurance for my FZ1.

then i think brunch is no hope liao... cus i'm jus 1 level above the front counter...

i find ANDA's location quite good for me.. just before doing transfer for my bike at sin ming i just stop there to buy insurance.. only renew is a problem..

no la AIG do take in bike insurance... but due to the load that it is currently handling because it does all sorts of general insurance, it has no choice but to find a worker for them, and it is ANDA!

i seldom ride and when i do, i am seldom gentle on the throttle. anyway, 3 litres oil is cheap when compared to a top end rebuild (about $3K).

THey also told me that just last week they sold a brand new fz09s2 and they still have 1 in store. meaning to say, bike production lied to me with regards to fz09 being sold out.. sigh...

 

Argh... i can't believe it leh.. i ganna chop like mad.. !!!

 

I think i will just push my bike to hong leong and get everything done once and for all... my eagerness to get a fazer did me in! sigh.. shouldn't have been so impatient..
