My insurance is 3rd party fire and theft, I downpaid $3500 and loan X 5 years, that is why it costs so much.

 

But I'm so in love with the bike!

Hmm, ok so I change oil + filter @ 500km. Then I go to Hong Leong for the 1000km servicing?

 

Or should I not bother about servicing at Hong Leong at all?

 

Naked1 bro's is comprehensive way of running in...

i believe it's for the best of your bike if u decided to do manual running in...

 

i think he meant is go change mineral oil + filter @ 500km...

then at 1000km, u can go HL do servicing + change mineral oil + filter...

then self change mineral oil + filter @ 1500km...

then at 2000km, change semi EO + oil filter...

 

blah blah blah...

 

 

Haha, ok will take note. Must start pumping iron already...kekeke

 

I got mine from Excel Cycle....

 

my point is... dun rush when u riding... go it slowly and carefully and ur body will slowly adjust to the weight and handling of a fz1 from a cl2b bike...

My running in ah? Haha I just ride to genting with wife n back n Wahala bike run in Liao. Haha aiya alot people say run in slowly some say hard run in. Some even say run in at track at high rpm.

 

So what say u? Haha why ur insurance so ex ah? My fire n theft dam cheap or is it because I m old? :(

FZ6 rack can fit FZ1N ? I dunno much abt panniers. :angel:

 

I just called fi-east about his panniers; they are not available for sale as the new bike owner wants them.

No lah...not disappointed....curious only, since you say you between 21 to 24 yrs....normally guys just state the actual age and girls give a rough estimate....would also be cool to have more lady riders ard.....

hey wats the cheapest rack n pannier?? the wet saddlebag is really irritating me a little with this monsoon weather now...................... but must budget budget...

 

Hepco & Becker 40L side panniers with rack at M-Technik for FZ 6 will cost you $930. That's the lowest they would offer me.

shop ard lar.. go biketech21 ask abt the motech racks. If price concern consider Givi. Racks harder to get 2nd hand. Box, got better chance. Check out the garage sales often. :thumb:

bro, this is my 1st alarm disc lock when i bought my black b!tch...

i bought it from HL...

 

u wan truth comments? it's good... but TOO sensitive...

sometimes after u arm it and walk away, it will sound off by itself...

sometimes in the quiet mid night, i would hear my alarm sounding off from my mscp 2 blocks away... :lol:

 

i ever tried going JB with it armed and i'm around my bike...

all i can say is little vibration or wadever, it will sound off liao...

wind blow by it will also sound off... omg! :slapforehead:

 

in the end, i took off the battery and use it as normal disc lock...

 

so, wad do u think? :D

i did not try other alarm disc locks already after this incident... but from a few posts, i seems to see some good comments on sandyanne's alarm disc locks... perhaps u would like to check it out?
