FYI, rounded screws are generally easier to remove than a rounded allen-head bolt.

dun wish to brag here but to me, any screws / nuts out of the engine & wheel area are of no problem to me, even rounded screws... all i need is a little bit more time...

last weekend i jus took out a lock-tited screws from a rubber nut...

Correct i agree that with gd quality tools it would be gd if u change to gd quality screws. Changing to high quality stainless steel screws can liao le need titanium screws meh? :sian: very expensive le :D

But if gd tools the chances of rounding is much lesser le, anyway a gd pair of tools can last u a long way if u maintain it. Somemore u don only use the tools on bike ma alot of other places also can use :)

higher grade of stainless steel screws & nuts are good... yes i agree...

titanium stuffs are only to joke with you nia... take it easy... :D

anyway, my set of tools are of no low graders thou it's not those high quality ones of cus... :thumb:

btw aRcHeR, i jus referred back to previous post communication...

i think u got things mistaken... correct me if i'm wrong...

i said i got loctite in one of my screw with rubber nut but u said loctite screws who duno how to take out...

hence i ask u how abt i apply some loctite onto your screw & rubber nut set and let it dry up and u try taking it out...

i'm not challenging u that u duno how to take out normal loctite screws with nuts anyway...

if u feel offended on your capabilities... my bad then...

loctite, you know for wad purpose anot?

some stuffs, not alot of them means good..

and nobody put loctite on rubber nuts for goodness sake. even if have, it will be a very very light coating that required only minimal effort to loosen, yet able to withstand the vibration.

i think i dun need to explain how loctite got into my rubber nut ba...

no doubts that most folks who love to diy stuffs will know how to use loctite...

since u mentioned that you had remove them countless times, how abt removing from rubber nut?

anyway fyi, no one will use loctite on rubber nuts, not even a tiny drop of it...

since u ask me about the purpose and i guess u have doubts that i know anything...

u seems to know a lot, y not share to everyone wad's the purpose of loctite?

i'm sure i'll be happy to listen... :)
