Handle Bar

 

"You can't miss Handle Bar at night. Facing the main road, its lighted sign-board albeit somewhat blocked by the trees, beacons out to passing motorists like a torch in the night. The concept seems totally out of Singapore and looks inspired by those highway stop-overs overseas.

 

A colleague in the office once told me that 'handle bar' sounds particularly violent to her. But contrary to the uninitiated, it's actually a bikers-themed pub that is rather popular with bikers especially local Harley owners. With its open concept and generous space in its front yard, bikers can actually ride their trusty bikes up to the premises.

 

Décor of the pub is a creative use of recycled parts from motor bikes. The pub itself is also decked with motorbike bits and parts, giving it a rather biker's touch to the place. Even the beer dispensers and fruit juice machines are made from the recycled engines of a Harley Davidson bike. Serving BBQ food like burgers and fish and chips with its drinks, it's relatively popular with overseas expatriates and bikers. It has even a bike wash service for bikers during the weekends starting at 4.30pm on Saturday and 3pm on Sunday. Wash and dry cost S$10 with additional polish service costing an extra S$20."

i checked my tyre pressure twice over the 1 month i had the tyre. now i can only hope it last longer for daily commuting. :pray:
