having a manual sw to switch on the fan is for you to control the fan...you dont have to wait for the sensor to sense before the fan works...radiators helps to cool the engine and the fan is there to aid the cooling so although you cant have control over how hot the engine gets, you can control the speed at which it cool

so u wld manually on it when riding in heavy traffic or speeding on nshw?

you only switch it on when in jam and heavy traffic, when you ride there is already a force cooling from the wind...if you ride and your fan is still working then there is something wrong with your sensor or your radiator level may be low, go and check it out...worst if your radiator is leaking...

You can get MR. DIY to have it fix in 10 min or any bike shop can do it.

But make sure the switch is a good water proof type...The XR400 engine cut off switch is a good switch to use. Make sure the joints of all wires are soldered and sleeved up. ...cost inclusive installation is around $35.

The latest news section of the popular Singaporebikes.com is reported taken back by the bigman. Yesterday the latest news section was taken suddenly by a new news reporter, xiao xue.

Sources says the bigman was almost put out of job for a day. Bigman, also known as da ren, is a popular new reporter in the above mentioned forum, has been providing locally news to the forum community. He has posted a total of more than 10000 posts since he joined in 21 July 2003. xiao xue, who joined later on 8 jun 04, has only about 4000 posts to her credit to date.

Yesterday fierce news room battle, bystanders witnessed Xiao xue clocked a total of 23 threads in just 2hrs, with the earliest post at 08:45am. Bigman which started reporting as early as 07:01am, was totally defeated and has only 4 threads to his credits.

Fear of fierce battle between the 2 reporters was expected to continue today but unexpectedly, xiao xue has yet to clock a thread today. This may be due to the bigman doing a dawn attack on the new room as early as 12:57am.

Fierce battle between the 2 reporters for the new section is expected to follow a third day. The incumbent reporter is expected not to give up his job so easily. Bystanders are not getting involved in this reporter's supremacy.

Both sides could not be reached for comments.
