How about russian watch? Any collectors here. I had a vostok and three poljot alarms. My poljots were brought from Russia as here is too ex. Not to name the shop but it cost $428 (futher discount 10% most) while it cos US$99 plus another US$10 to ship. Yeah i;m talking about MM Gromov, Hectobub? and Nestorov. These were Russ Heroes.

so easy if u intend to buy 2nd hand go to a respectable shop to buy lor. bought mine at peng kwee at peoples park. so many shop down there. and if u still doubt whether its fake bring it to rolex shop oppsite taka there. have them check to varify.(this cost $) or u could bring to other shop like sincere watches, dickson watches to have ur rolex checked and service. or go any pawn shop lah tats the easiest.

sad to say market gt sell 99.99% replicas:weep: best is to go respectable shop to buy and nt those small shops.

i love.. A. Lange & Söhne.. Jaeger Lecoultre's Reverso.. i will get those when somehow i find a suitcase full of $100 bills or i inherit a million dollars... oh yeah also the power power stuff of Philippe Dufour..

 

other than that... i like seiko chronographs and swatch fancy designs.. and i really wish i could get a Breitling Chrono Avenger... fully auto.. and Titanium all around... nice!

hmm nt too long leh, coz like i say peoples park there lots of shop. and this peng kwee shop gt lots of branches in sg. so its easy to find. ppl gt recommend oso so nothin to be afraid. their shop oso posh posh one hor. all their salesman and sales gal all diamond watch one:lovestruck: personally think rolex is a gd investment gd resale value, unlike omega & other watches

Sapphire Crystal is rock hard solid making a very solid sound (not hollow) when tapped. The Rolex words are refined, sharp and white becos of laser etching. The crown is very firm and screws smoothly in and out. The automatic movement does not make any sound when the watch is shaken. In fact, you wouldnt even be able to feel the movements in your hands when you shake it.

 

i have been wearing the Black face stainless steel Submariner since the late 90s.

That is a very popular model for fakes.

 

Many a time, I catch someone wearing a fake and trying to act cool with it.

 

at the end of the day, you can bluff everyone but not yourself.

told u gt 99.99% replicas liao, outside cannot see one. unless u tokking about those lousy fakes. u sure shake no sound?? how come mine gt sound, oh no its a fake when i shake there is very slight sound, coz bearing inside moving.

Otherwise, likely becos you didnt service your watch so the movement not so smooth as before. Automatics need to be oiled and serviced every 2-3 yrs to be in tip top condition.

normal cleaning polishing and oiling service is only about $100.
