let's all share what we pack for ourselves and our bikes when we go on trips.

some people travel ultra-lite~ some looked as though they've juz stuffed their entire house inside~

we all have reasons for the size of our pack, time to say it out.

hmmmm..... if you're wearing waterproof (resistant) jackets, pants & boots, think no need for raincoat already...

that is correct but many people (myself included) wouldn't do that due to our tropical climate.... the greenhouse effect might cause over-heating, and those who perspire excessively might suffer from rashes~ especially when the journey might included riding during the day (when the sun is up and blasting away)

with the exception of raincoat and bikey's stuffs, everything else fits into my 1.5L waist pouch which is water resistant.

so far i've only been on overnight trips (2 days 1 night), so dun really need to cart an entire wardrobe along with me.

here's a tip: pack small, pack light and share some load (toiletries, first aid kit, chain lube... etc)

but my bike has a box and i do bring an extra bag~ good for carting local goodies home.... :D

travel light, watever u can buy from the 7-11,dun bring. Thailand n Malaysia got so many bike shops,tools/spares oso dun bring.

7-11 got palm-sized shampoo, shower gel, powder, facial scrub,toothbrush,toothpaste....enough for a few days' use. when leaving hotel/guesthouse,just leave it in the toilet, dun bring back.

clothes dun bring so much, coz 7-11 oso sell FAB washing powder at 5bht, can wash in the toilet bowl, but must hold the clothes when flushing away the soapy water.

bring a lot of confidence/faith when touring, scared this scared that u won't enjoy the trip.

somebody i know go for 1month trip all in 1 top box. oh yes, i forget to add,he has a pillion too.
