So all this racing Carb, Racing CDI, Aftermarket exhaust, rebore engine will only help improve pickup but not top speed? haha.. if my engine has to "scream" i wanna let it scream with pride

 

I notice actually.. if you hold 120 long enough.. it can still pick up speed.. but it sounds scary

HELP!

 

My Baby won't start ! Been noticing for the past 2-3 days actually, that its harder to start in a cold morning.

 

But today, it doesn't start at all!

Can hear the engine crank, but no start.

need to Blip throttle to start for the past 1-2 days..

Then today.. nothing.

Won't start.

Just some sound, but no crank, no start.

Push start doesn't work either. once the engine starts, it goes on for a while, then dies.

 

ARGH! Where's the kick start when you need it.

Intend to send it back to CKA to let them have a look (thank god for 1mth electrical warranty) but if hte bike won't start, hence it won't move to CKA, would it?

 

Anyone knows of cheap towing svcs? I need to transport the bike to Kaki bukit.

Call me if you have any lobangs..

 

1) Its not the batt, cos the lights are working fine. cept when I press the starter button, the 'N' light dims.

2) its not the spark plug cos my fren said that it's still okay.

3) not fuel cos its more than half tank still.

 

What can it be? Wiring problems? Batt perhaps? is there a 'charger' whereby if you move, the batt gets charged?

 

Help needed.

Tried what you explained above, but the starter motor doesn't crank. just a buzzing sound..

I've made Daelim Roadwin 125 to be a Daelim Roadwin 200

rebore engine?? Not cheap thought... hahah... I dun know if there is going to be any difference in the engine.. I have to let the cylinder run in.

 

I did some major spending today cos I damm pissed off..

 

Dun faint hor...

 

Removal, rebore and install Engine block for 200cc Piston - $600

Redo Silencer for better air intake due to larger capacity size -$60

Changed Plug cap(Worn) -$26

Front Sporket changed to 15, Rear to 38 and a DID Chain -$175

Carburaetor Joint (the reason why my bike have been losing power ... cos the carburaetor joint broke.... bend a little and u can see the splits ) -$45

Rear Sprocket Holders ( This is interesting, I notice my bike feels like its slidding when I do fast corners. the mech showed me that the holders were worn and that wheel was only supported by the center axis . ) -$45

Racing Carburator- $150

Racing Air Filter-$30

Body kit(3 Color ) - $380

Body Spray (3 Color) 290

 

haha... Bike as good as new... I know its crazy... but since update one, might as well just update all.. than dun change bike lao...

Okay.. The other day you told me you want to beat Johnny's bike.. now u got the 'biggest' roadwin of all.

 

I wanna see..

Anyway, my starter problem is due to a weak batt, due to over cranking of the starter motor, which is caused by fuel over flow.

So what you can do, is to NOT blip the throtle BEFORE starting the bike.

When that happens, turn off the fuel supply, then start the bike.

When the bike is running good and okay, it should last a few mins on idle, that's when you can turn on the fuel supply again.

 

Also did my 2nd servicing today.. Oilchange, hcecked other parts. everything okay.

 

 

Guys, what about a meetup soon?

I wanna see what Space has done to his bike.

Let's also discuss common problems. I want to know what's happening to the bike.

Hmm... I did a few rounds in marina south just a couple of hours ago to test the bike while doing a little run in...

 

1) Bike is as good as a Sex toy... It vibrate like hell... and I really mean hell.. I only did 80km/h but the vibration feels like 110 km/h . Our engine block is mounted directly to frame without any bumper. therefore, we get all the feedback from the engine. Going back to CKA tomorrow to see if we can come out with anything idea...maybe put more washer or mount something to dampen the vibration. ($$ flying again)

 

2) Haha... Pickup rox.. i own my friend kup..hahah... no offence.. I used to be own by him.. sorry Stanley..

 

3) I can't talk about FC. I just top full tank. So will let you guys know once it hit empty.

 

4) With all the changes, I hit 60 @ Gear 4, 5k RPM and 80 @gear 5 5k RPM. Once the run in is complete, I'll let you guys know the top speed. I think it will surpass 120.

 

5) Problem with having a 15/38 spoket setup is that the engine is straining to keep up. Mightyboo kept the bike at 14/42 which was also having problems climbing. The only reason why this bike will be most prob surpassing 120 KM/H will only be because of this spoket setting. If maintain at 14/42, there will only be pickup improvment but not top speed. So far, Climbing requires me to downgear cos I can't rev above 5K RPM

If 1.8K can stop giving me all those problem like engine stalling while riding and than hit kerb and fall, or skidding while taking higher speed corners, Improve my riding experience. I'll spend that... Emotionally pissed when all those happened.

 

This also means that super 4 have to wait again... like 2010 lao... haiz... haha...

Went for round 2 of Modification.

 

Settle Full body paint job on the bike, Order the Moriwaki exhaust system, Installed new Rear Brake Pump ,New EO and a larger volt Igniter coil.

 

All i'm left now in the CDI to be amended.
