newbies probably will say i dont need speed..i wont race..i use it for transport..

to be frank..if it is purely transport..every bike fulfil e requirement..

i dont recommend tiz bike if u r doing despatch or pillion ppl daily travelling long dist. eg from changi to tuas..

really..despite all the cons, i'm still okie wif my rw.. =)

talking about giants riding on cupkias... tat day i was testing a KRR.. then when i tried to kick start, my fren say i look like a giant dog trying to take a leak. when i was riding, she said i look like an elephant squatting on a cat. haha. it is true rw can popular among the bigger size ple.

st sir. i was at CKA today then i asked to mech to test ride my bike for me. he blew the throttle n alot of black smoke came out. aft tat, my ride became smoother. and oso, i can hit higher speed. i can oso hit higher rpm without feeling so much vibration. do we need to blow our throttle once in a while to "decarbonise"???

no, u don't have to do decarbonising like 2-strokers.

2-strokers problem is burnt 2T oil with carbon will become glueey stuff n choke in the exhaust belly causing engine to suffocate.

in order to clear it, run it at high speed/engine rpm to bring up heat just to burn it up.

4-strokers running at constant speed 50~60 kph can easily foul the spark plug with carbon.

once a while do top speed riding to bring up engine heat.

best temperature for a spark plug to work well n self-clean is around 600~800 deg. C.

if u r able to tune carb perfectly, engine should be purring like a cat.

fuel burnt with minimise carbon, u won't find thick carbon on the muffler outlet.

thanks!! i constantly get carbon on my muffler tip, does that mean my carb is tuned too rich??

it's hard to say, coz it' not the place to check whether carb is tuned rich or lean.

check spark plug electrode is the place for indication whether carb is tuned rich or lean.

example:

white is lean n black is rich, grey, brown or tan color electrode is wat we seek.

the problem with carb is u might get tuned for low, mid but high rpm will be out or visa versa.

There's a bit of ryhme in this line "white is lean n black is rich, grey, brown or tan color electrode is wat we seek." haha

my bike's setting seemed to be much better now. previously i had problems climbing to 85. now i can go past 85 to 95 with ease. the vibrations are much lesser as well. has this anything to do with the blowing of throttle?

no, maybe something drops back into it's rite place.

or maybe he did something tat u weren't watching??

my rw can easily roll up to 110kph with 70kg rider. :)

has it anything to do with sprocket?

i really duno wads my setup. i think it's 14/42. tyre same as urs.

btw, st sir, wad brake pads u using? my mech change to OEM pads n i find it does not have good braking power.

my previous brake pads, according to the mech, is aft market n not suitable for rw, n has caused my brake disc to become thinner and out of shape. he recommended me to use OEM, but aft using i find OEM i need to brake longer.

i cant get above 8k rpm. do you know wad factors shd i check to find out why?
