Went for my first 2A lesson. Lesson went on fine, but was very uncomfortable with the heat coming from the tank.

Reached home, shower, then had a shock when I saw my inner thighs kena burn until red red. Actually burn my thighs never mind, what I'm worried about is my balls! Is it normal? How you guys tahan?

Common stuff bro. It's a problem with the S4 Revo. The class 2 bikes don't have that problem.

If u think it's bad in SSDC, think about what the BBDC guys have to deal with. Hot afternoon sun adding to the heat of the engine - the tank gets so hot some guys give up riding halfway and go camp at the water cooler!

Everybody also the same. I even resorted to fan my thighs in out but instructor scold me. LL have to tahan the heat. Go back spray cold water at the jewels.

Ride fast..ride safe..don't crash...

U dont need double layer. What u need is thermal wear. U wear double layer then the heat get absorbed by extra layers of cloth then how? By the time finish the quails egg also cooked.

I only felt the problem with the S4 revo actually. The CBF600 wasn't so bad. Maybe the engine is more efficient?

But the red burn marks ARE common. I had them all the time too during 2A. They tend to stay for a day or 2, and they'll fade after that, so don't worry! :thumb: No permanent damage done!

Went for 2nd lesson. Didn't feel so bad this time round, had a comfortable ride with no burn marks. I think is depend on the bike. If lucky, get a cooler bike.

they should increase the speed limit! Which bike u used? Maybe we can note down a list of bikes that are cooler.

This problem I think have already been feedback to the schools since day 1 when they got their Revo. Previously carb models not so hot. Revo is FI so then engine run leaner, more efficient = hotter. I dont like lean engines. Decrease engine life. Maybe it is too expensive to tune all the bikes to run richer?

Ever tried the ssdc cbf600??

Now that's a thigh burner!!!!

nah only s4 revo has this problem at low speed. i rode cbf600 at ssdc class 2 no such problem. unless u drag gear 1 all the way then hot lor

haha... if this is unbearable then R1 heat must be "godly unbearable"

ok one la, class 2a bike heat is still acceptable to me.

U can go for night or morning lesson where the surrounding temperature is cooler. if u go during hot afternoon time of course the bike will b hotter.

Not say unbearable, but definitely uncomfortable. Of course bo bian have to endure to get 2a, but any bike that results in burnt red thighs is definitely not right. Thing is i used 4 bikes now, similar timing, 2 were not hot, but 2 cooked my balls. Really just a matter of heng suay.

big bikes are not meant to be ride in circuit condition. you cannot compare the condition u ride outside with circuit. in circuit u ride and top constantly of course it will be hot cuz the air flow to the bike is not enough. i rode revo 1.5years altho it is hotter than other super 4 but i have not encounter it burning my thigh, only if u ride in circuit in hear 1 and 2 for 60mins then it will hot til that point.
