I was quoted $910 from Chiap Lee. waiting time: 4-6 weeks.

Items intended: alu rack, trax mount adapter, trax alu top case, top case backrest & 2 piece of keys. Thats kind of a bomb man..ahah

 

Anyway, just came back from HL and they temporarily tighten the cam. Was advice new tensioners most prolly arriving next week..haiz, wait & wait & wait.

Was also informed theres 3 bikes(reported) affected so far. As per our bikes sales in SG, already hitting more than 50.

 

Givi rack should be arriving at Mah soon. More choices for boxes. Thinking hard whether I should add a top box for my MT-09.

 

More than 50 MT-09s OTR liao....but seem so rare when I am out riding.

I put item in the cart to see the shipping charges. 38.xx pounds.

 

Ya. 80plus sgd for shipping. Too exp alr. I rather wait for US stock to come. Shipping is slightly cheaper.

112 + 38 = 150 pounds x 2.1 = SGD315

 

I put everything in the cart, alu-rack, trax box, back rest and adaptor plate comes up to 415.07 pounds including shipping. After GST is around SGD932. Better get from Chiap Lee if installation is included.

 

Or get Hepco Becker like Muge, cheaper.

Usually they will do installation for you.

If you are looking for aluminum box H&B also has explorer series similar to trax.

But you have to pre order/reserve at MTechnik, they don't have ready stock when I install my top box.

I think Muge is referring to top box. Hepco have many alu series.

 

I thought all the xplorer series opened sideways? No?

Those are side panniers. Top box is what you want.

 

ya, top case Im saying. Friend's Xplorer top case is opened sideways unless they have other Xplorer top case that opens normal way..not sure bout that

Got what you mean. Then the explorer series is not for you.

no need backrest.. sw motech rack max load is 7.5kg.. unless u wan the rack to break faster if not its not advisable for pillion to lean on it

My mt-09 sg plate FBJ. Believe to be 2nd batch of shipment from hongleong. Got it on 19jan but now mileage still 100km+
