Yup.. Lets wait for USA site. I gt a new email from them saying 3-4wks might reach.. but my advice is if u can wait then wait coz ownself import sure more exp.. Box buy from chiap lee and rack can import in.

 

oh, thought bought directly should be cheaper..ahah. Think Ill just buy from Chiap Lee uh..easy ~

 

Hi guys, any specific windshield brand tat u guys recommend.?? Jus got my bike jus nw and looks weird without the no.plate.

 

Personally, the OEM Yamaha one cause it really flush with the bike but kinda short though. You can try Ermax too..higher and not so bad looking.

 

Anyway you mean currently youre riding without the front no. plate?

tried ordering the sw-motech rack plus adapter & the Trax box through their website, was pushed to Chiap Lee in the end -.-

seems like we cant purchase on our own huh

The flyscreen is Ermax 33cm bought online. There is another one 25cm. They have smoke and many other colours.

Tank lock and bag is from Givi. Think I bought it for around S$150 online.

Mersing ride was fun. Actually the week before we rode up to Kuantan via Mersing.

The MT-09 can perform extremely well...but not sure about the rider.

Didn't try top speed. I limit my speed to under 200kph on the NSHW.

Not bad I would say but it takes away the look ie. ugly

If can wait see what Zero Gravity come out with.

Yeah it's not pretty. But so far this is the only screen that got correct mounting points.

Other screens are not using the side mounting points, which cause flexing issue as mentioned in fz09 forum.

 

Been waiting for zero gravity but no news at all.

Tried 180km/hr and it was really hard..as in the wind blast was just too strong for me. Im featherweight ~

I wrote him to reduce the 20pct VAT and at the time when I buy the shipping to Sin was 17.xx pounds. Now he raised the shipping fee to 42.50 pounds.

Then a screen will be very helpful at speed above 140kph. I featherweight also...haha

just called HL to enq on the cam chain tensioner, was adv still waiting for arrival, perhaps another 1 - 2 weeks time -.-

i too wanted the Kawa Z800..ahah. personally it looks naise they do have an agent, Evershine but heard their service is bad..like real bad. So I guess cant complain much bout HL huh..ahah

Evershine certain model only bring in that they will warranty.other model all parallel.waranty by the bikeshop itself.if theres a recall more worst...

oh is it..only certain models huh. nvm about them, although my MT-09 has been giving me some probs, and Im kinda piss cause of this petty probs being prolonged till the extend of not enjoying the ride anymore..not saying that Im regretting buying her but hopefully, itll be settled asap & Ill definitely love to ride her all day ;p

oh is it..only certain models huh. nvm about them, although my MT-09 has been giving me some probs, and Im kinda piss cause of this petty probs being prolonged till the extend of not enjoying the ride anymore..not saying that Im regretting buying her but hopefully, itll be settled asap & Ill definitely love to ride her all day ;p

 

The revised cam chain is not a permanent fix from what I read from forum. Sounds still come back after awhile. There is one thread at fz9.org, one dealer from south Cali convert the tensioner to a manual one with a replaced bolt and so far it solved the issue.

I was quoted $910 from Chiap Lee. waiting time: 4-6 weeks.

Items intended: alu rack, trax mount adapter, trax alu top case, top case backrest & 2 piece of keys. Thats kind of a bomb man..ahah

 

Anyway, just came back from HL and they temporarily tighten the cam. Was advice new tensioners most prolly arriving next week..haiz, wait & wait & wait.

Was also informed theres 3 bikes(reported) affected so far. As per our bikes sales in SG, already hitting more than 50.
