Guys... I need to do my first servicing today... What type of oil and where can i do it today? Motorsport isn't open for business today... Thanks guys

What's your mileage? You can wait until tomorrow no problem. Usually there's sone tolerance so no problem.

If your mileage above 800km just go for synthetic oil.

Bro kongfu, u bought the rack? from Taiwan?

It does look neat and sturdy but color no prob for me as my bike is matte black.

How do i get one too?

As stated in his previous post. Like everybody here, camping for the new rack to float here. It should be in "last week" if the month. But it may sink in the Indian Ocean or travel via the long way round....

Press the right button until you got ODO. From there navigate with the left button.

It's written in the user manual. Cheers.

Not sure if I understand your question correctly but:

I guess just continue pushing the hour button until you reach 12 next

push it will jump over from 12 AM to 1 PM

I am not sure if the Xciting includes a 24 hours modus.

Guys... I need to do my first servicing today... What type of oil.....

Like Advrider said synthetic oil, and without any problems can do also tomorrow or day after

And just like in my DownTown I think I'm gonna prefer 5W-50

To give you guys any pimp ID check out this thick grip stickers

http://s17.postimg.org/rzy52bhjz/xciting_MANIGLIE_NEW_APP.jpg

And something else... I just noticed that the oem oil-filter for Xciting 400i with (Kymco part nr. 1541A-LEH6-E00)

is exactly the same as I had on my DownTown, so that mean in the nearby future I easily can jump over onto 'Hiflo' HF566 oil-filters

Good thing from 'Hiflo' is that it's 3 a' 4 times cheaper then oem oil filters :)

b.t.w.

Since I guess 'Hiflo' is coming from UK I am not sure if you guys in SEA can have Hiflo for the same good price.

Indeed the oem oil filter is hiflo. Do note that for downtown and xciting the oil filter is difference in the length. We took out to measure when I changed it. So it does not fit. So far I had checked hiflo for xciting not available.

Cheers.

OIL FILTER Xciting 400i ..............: (Kymco part nr.1541A-LEH6-E00)

OIL FILTER DownTown 300i abs ...: (Kymco part nr.1541A-LEA7-E00)

Jan

I took a quick look it's almost 1/2 length difference. I'll try to get the picture of the different length if possible. Cheers.

I should have taken a picture when I did a oil change the other time.

@ Bike Yong

3 mm. longer in strength isn't much, normally I would guess the spring into the cap can bridging the difference.

But on the other hand it's more safe and to me it's not a big deal to just buy them oem

Main reason why I was interested is because of I've got lot's of spare parts after a while a go a car hit me and my DT, so since then the DT is TL.

So at least I've got 3 or 4 new Hiflo's HF566 at home.

Nga... then I suggest to gift them and make one off my friends happy :p

Anyway THX for checking

Everybody on the club (see site) is onto facebook, with exception from J@n... hehe

But no worry like a real tour-club we have our own site to chat about

Kymco's and our tour program etc. etc.

You can have right away access to the open part of the KTN site, and if you wanto see 'a little' more you have to get free member,

but no worry the open part of the site is large enough already!

Note: The club is mainly based on Kymco 50cc tour!

Crazy Dutch guys driving hundreds of kilometers a day on 50cc haha

KTN url....: http://www.kymco-tourclub-nederland.nl

Like to see the Dutch flowers... here's one of my own 2013 organized tours

Main reason why I surfing on the net out site Holland is because I feel kinda connected with Asian people... I am a 100% Dutch cheese-head but

since about 30 years I own a house @ Chiang Mai / Thailand
