Nokia 6300

Anyone using this phone currently? Looks sleek and pretty nice... but wondering is it plagued by the hanging problems of the N-series...

im using this model now. its very sleek, & like all nokia models, its very user friendly.

 

i particular love the buttons & the big screen. & it comes with a nice pouch too.

 

but 1 minus point is that every 2 days i have to charge it. & its talk time its said to be only 3.5hrs

 

other than that, im still happy to have this HP.

Whilst N95 boasts an impressive spec sheet with an "all-in-one" slider package it's the E65 that would make a better day to day handset...both in terms of funtionality and appeal

 

Price comparision: N95 - $1150

any potential problems w/ this phone?

izit using the same old lousy pop port headset connector like some of the other nokia phones?

i'm getting quite fedup w/ the loose headset connector of my current N6230i already

haha... i think nw e fons all uses tat wide connector. im oso fedup esp when im ridin i put my hp inside e pocket & it .... cant listen nice music.

sekali need to go buy other brands of hp just bcause of the lousy nokia connector

go nokia and tell them the problem of short battery life, i got it repaired and now my phone can last 3 days, if i knew battery life so short i woul not have bought it.

I am using Nokia 6300 now, can say its a simple and easy to use phone. But only problem with this phone is that it gets hot easily and fast...within 1 minute the phone is hot liao...dunno why.

ok, so there's battery and heat problem? Darn. Hope it's not too bad. I got mine in Hong Kong for HK$1780 (approx S$343) a few days ago. Came with a spare battery, plastic cover, leather case, desk top charger and screen protector (yeah, I know. It's not necessary).

 

Good thing my BL-4C battery from my 6100 can be brought over, so I have 4 batteries now. That should take care of the no power problem for now

try the nokia 6233, the phone have two speakers also.....increase the level of sound further by the equalizer application then this model becomes super loud..........hope this helps

Ringtone can be soft if kept in the pocket. I didn't know that display contrast can't be adjusted. I was looking for it myself and found nothing....

Hi guys!

 

I woke up this morning and i got this operator wordings on my Nokia 6300. In addition to the word Singtel on my phone, also got this "HI! ZONE-0" below the word Singtel.

 

I set operator selection to MANUAL and AUTOMATIC also no difference. What's up sia? How do i remove this crap?

 

Next, when i make a call, the is a "diagnostic" heart-pulse thing icons (like you see in hospital when taking heartbeat) or "lightning bolt" indicator at the top of the screen..

 

Now, Instead of HI! ZONE-0 its HI! ZONE-50

 

Any ideas?
