I juz remembered, there's a black SV400 at Mah motor (Serangoon one) when i was scounting for my SV abt a year ago.

Not sure if its still available..

Hi guys, I finally got the pair of slider mounted on my bike... is it made of Aircraft grade Aluminium.

 

For sale $50 brand new, surface is machine finish (not ground or polish). it is custom made to fit my SV, so it should fit yours.

 

Will take a pic of them and pose up tonight...

 

If response is good, I can ask mechanic friend to fab more...

91-92: 84 Yam LC125

95-97: 88 Suz GSX400R & 88 GSX400FW

97-01: 95 Suz Bandit400

01-04: 96 Suz DR650SE

04-11: 99 Suz SV650S

05-05: 94 Suz DR200SE

Pic Updates! Slider!

 

These sliders are made so that it protrudes about 1cm from the fairing outer edge. Only thing now is I can't find any stainless steel bolts that can compliment it. The screw shop at Kelantan lane says the screw thread are rare to find that that size of bolts... So I have to be satisfy with High tension blacken bolts until I can find stainless ones. And yes it rust! apply grease before mount is advised.

There is a SV650 on classified ads selling for $3.9k, its cheaper than a FR plate 400cc Vtec 1. Go make a search.

 

However the owner has posted the ad for quite sometime ago, probably its an indication Suzuki Vtwin is not popular in SG.

But seriously, I think we should save up the money and get a new 650 instead. Looi willing to take in but need at least 5 ppl.

btw, the mechanic at new tech is selling his FR Blue SV. Go check him out for details. His shop along the same road as Guan Hoe but opp the post centre. look for ah san.
