The more I ride my SV, the less I care about going to the annual bike show and looking at new,

Hey guys, i have something to share. It is regards to the rotor meter of the front wheel of SV bikes. When u all change tire, remember to go to let those more experience mechanic to change the front wheel. The reason is because i encountered a bad experience when this particular mechanic actually have limited knowledge in dealing to cl 2 bikes and break my rotor meter. It isolated my speedo meter and millage meter.

As we know, sv parts are very limited in singapore context, however, i manage to order the spare part from guan ho. They can order directly from Japan, but it take a bit of time for the spare to arrive.

To conclude, dont let any newbie mechanic to deal with your bike.

Divert traffic to one expressway. Then put up more ERP gantries. Sounds realistic?

I think the power is more than enough on the SVs on local roads. Unless you guys ride at crazy speeds and accelerate hard out of every bend(which I don't recommend) or bring the bike to the circuits, I don't see the need to increase it's bhp.

Think about upgrading the rider I say, things like learning to ride safer, being more visible to other road users on the roads, reducing the braking distance etc etc....

Even if we tweak the SV to 90horses, not much use if rider cannot make use of that amount of power(except on straights), while many of us here knows that the advantage of the SV is in the twisties.

Btw, this Sunday a few of us SVRiders and exSVRiders are heading to Mersing for lunch, do let me know if any of you interested.

The bike is design with safety consideration. If one try to mod the bike to gain more power from it, there is always a trade-off. Understand what's the trade-off and think if it's worth extracting more from your machine.

As the saying goes, nothing is free. U gain some, U lose some.
