You can always offer more :), I just want to give it in good hands and not to some greedy dealer. No intention to spoil any market. And if it turns out the one who buys it sells it for a profit I'll make sure to name the culprit.

Don't get offended... Joking only. :cheeky:

How much you sell is up to you... Don't worry about shops, they will steer clear of SVS... Our bike is a Cult bike, Love it you willing to pay premium.

$2K for a rare gem is a steal... hopefully can get a true blue SV lover.

Riding is fine, importing is a different issue. You can bring it in pieces, then reassemble, still does not mean you can get a license for it. And I'm going to be in Thailand for a bit, if they don't burn it down completely it is ;).

Should I buy and any scrap my SV? Beats rebuilding the whole engine again and I would have a full load of spares.....

Anyway, any one interested? Need 2 to enjoy free shipping.

Limsteel, will you be interested to sell the magnet in the speedo sensor? Mine cable is alright but the magnet inside the wheel hub disintegrated.

Mine busted too... That's why I got the trailtech. Managed to fix up and it's working now. But lazy to install the coolant temp sensor. Also underestimated the Resistor value, most of my LED blown. :faint:

Wanna join in the digital meter gang? :cheeky: the speedo set (no sell magnet alone) is about $150 :sian:

Singapore is not in the list of country that they shipped to... Didnt ask them much, but the last time I order stuff from them, i make use of their free shipping within US then send over to Sg by vpost...

anyone has lobang for sv400 engine?

mine uplorry 3 days back and it was narrowed down to the crankshaft. huge repeated metal knocking sound in engine and big loss of power. has always given it TLC but this has to happen :(

You may try your luck on below bike. Alternatively, you can try your luck with Ever Sucess. Check out with Mr. Hui at no: 62925909.

Else, your bike probably gotto up lorry like him.

Dear SV bros,

With regret, i will be scrapping my red sv400s by the end of the week. (this fri 21st may). For those who wants spares pls feel free to contact me 90604014 (by sms) pricing is very flexible. some items are relatively new eg; seat just rewrap 2mths ago, bellypan and etc.

everything must go.

also i've got a 2 months old hepco rack letting go at $200/firm

my loss is your gain.cheers

thx law. actually already pm skudai prior to posting but unfortunately the sv is no longer available :(

now trying to source either

- spare part direct from JP

- rebuild from re-machined parts

- source from other SVs here in SG

- order entire engine from overseas http://www.svspares.com/items/46-1_208-engine-complete.htm or .....

dunno which option to go for. still wish to restore it though such a fun bike it will be a pity to scrap.

Quote from AJ's previous pics, (which is now skudai's scrapped sv400s) the belly pan somehow does not belongs to a SV... Anyone can tell which bikes it belongs to?

I've seen SV 650s around...but the little bro SV 400 never...

any riders of this bike around?

or anyone with more info about this bike to share?

I am using my SV 650s. But I am looking for a good air filter for it. What do you think I should get to increase its performance?

I got a K&N(please guys, not KNN) air filter a few years back, still working fine. Not too sure if it did increase the performance of the bike without any change in jet settings, but I'm pretty sure it did save some fuel and add some hps WITH proper tuning.

Tiresmoking, you've just gotten the SV?

was searching for air filter but eventually narrow down to K&N (got it from the recent pmo), cos the price is easier on my wallet...

Any of you guys know whose this commando style SV belongs to?

Hi Kian, where will you be fixing up your SV?

i initially wanted to tow to planet as ah chong knows this bike best. but in the end as she mati around my area (west - bukit batok) i push her to the nearest bikeshop which is hua chin.

now a bit regret but since she has been dismantled fully already, also no choice :(

hope to have good news soon - got glimmer of hope from fellow sv riders :shy:
