Hello,

Would a GSXR400 front rim fit on the SV400? The specs for the SV400 front rim is

WHEELS

Front tyre: 120/60-17

Front brakes: single 290mm discs w/2-piston Tokico calipers

Front rim width: 3.5 inches

Also, can the fork, triple clamps, steering cone from the GSXR400 fit on a SV400?

Fork angle/Trail: 25 / 100 mm

Anyone know?

I need to replace my front rim, but would like to find out if we could convert the single disc brake to double disc brakes. There's someone in Garage Sales who scrapped his GSXR400 and is now selling the parts.

Earlier in this topic, Runner TYPE R posted on Dec 23 2004, 12:05 AM

I might have lobang to anyone like to convert the SV400 single front brake to dual calipers+rotors (gd cond used parts) with fixtures for less than estimated $700 bucks....

Is that offer still available?

Regards,

kyquek

The SV1000SZ Limited edition, with full fairings.

Theres a half fairing SV1000S for sale at Loois for 17k OTR, pretty good value IMO. :thumb:

The paintwork follows the Gixxer family.

The SV is a successor to the TL family. Although reviews say it does everything better than the TL, seems like it doesn't have the same appeal.

I think the new model SVs looks pretty sharp :thumb:
