SV outing 24/06/05

 

Venue: Pitstop (still open to suggestion)

 

Time=9pm tentatively

 

Put ya name n buzz down:

 

1. Metalfyre 96393660

2. weiz85 (come to kpo abit)

3. Limsteel (Got night class, if not too tired will make it after 10pm)

4. SV650 (btw, wei ge come kpo & sell blue pills??)

Another thing: you guys did any respraying at anyshop? looking for a cheap place (Except JB). Also considering colour too, single colour (why? cheap ma!). what you guys would choose?

- Orginal Blue

- Matted Back

- Matted Gun Metal {now my 1st choice, but donnot whether will it look nice...)

- Bright Red or Yellow...

Chilly Red looks good and striking.

hi guys, nice SV outing last night, even though not much activities, still was cool riding on the ECP, Metalfyre in front, SV650S to my left :thumb:

 

But gotta break the 3 bike curse, so far never see more than 3 SV in one place before, too bad limsteel couldnt join us.

 

as promised, here are the service manuals i found:

 

SV650 Service Manuals

 

Here are some ideas for the next outing:

 

1. DIY session - maybe can just do basic checkup, etc, using the serive manuals as a guide. Can do it at a bikeshop and also check out accessories together, but cannot be at Ah Boy la, too crowded:sweat:

 

2. JB - Pump petrol + supper, if go at night. If go on weekend (daytime) can pump petrol + breakfast or lunch or dinner + get bike washed + ride somewhere.

 

3. Buona Vista - Eat duck rice, play corner (slowly la):sweat: visit handlebar

 

Lets try and make it a once a month event, at least :thumb:

Dosing off while riding back home from class... thought wanna bath then come down... but too weak liao. Feel very guilty that I cannot make it... next round tea on me. :sweat:

 

I printed a copy of SV650 manual and binded it, next round I bring down. :thumb:

 

I got PDF of

Service Manual about 74Mb

Part list 4Mb

Assembly drawing about 5Mb in 4 zip files.

 

As for outing, I am interested in Saturday night JB Makan and petrol session.

hi guys, was in motoworld yesterday, wanted to get a double bubble windshield. They said can order the following for SV (pay deposit, about 1 month wait):

 

MRA Smoke or clear - $140

 

Sportec Chrome - $180

 

Thinking of getting the smoke or chrome one. any comments?

the middle of the windscreen is curved upwards, like a "bubble", as opposed to the standard screen which is relatively flat.

 

And i want that belly pan!! :bouncefire: looks better than the big full bottom fairing.:thumb:

think what you are referring to is bottom fairing, not belly pan.

wah 180 is quite ex leh...like i told u i got my bubble n headlight protectors for 100 only...

 

but i also quite gian the chrome one

 

smoke one also not bad...make my bike entirely black :thumb:

 

but wat to do with my current red double bubble? headache...
