Yo Denden,

Just checked with Biketech 21. They do not bring in Metisse products. Guess you have to give up on that.

However, they do have pyramid plastics. From the catalog, it looks good. I intend to order this thing. http://www.pyramid-plastics.co.uk/catalog/images/61030.jpg

Let's check it out this Sat and see if you want to order together.

Guys, need help.

My bike's tire (same tire) kanna 3 nails this year, think someone sabotaging my tire. The latest one is probably kanna this morning cos when moving backwards suddenly need a hard push - probably that's when the nail is driven in. Got any suggestion to fight this problem?

Damn, have to check tires every morning liao...

there's no way to fight nails in tires that i know of

short of installing magnets somewhere in your bike so all the nails fly there before they can cause any damage to your tires..hahahaha

How much is the double bubble for SV?

Anyone uses H rated for SV?

Feel that is much better those ZR rated tires?

Anyone beg to differ?

I think as our bike travel less than 210km/h or some where there. H rated might suit us better.

Cheaper, lower weight and heat up faster....

Tires like BT020,014,Metzeler M1,Z6.....

Those usually used on bigger bike.....

H rated tires like 090,GPR70 and dragon....

What I feel is that even those tires are for middles weight bikes up to 400cc....For SV we dont have high bhp and top speed....And SV are even lighter than super 4. The low and mid range torque we have can warm up those H rated tires faster and get them into working temp....So in this case we might get more for less.....

Not to mentioned lower unsprung weight that H rated tires are lighter than ZR rated as they dont contain so much materials that need to hold the tires at higher speed....

Cheaper.....

Warm up faster ......By SV V twin torque....

Mileage wise I think they will be much shorter but like 090 is at least $40 to $50 cheaper than the next ZR rated tires.....

Those are like nipples... You twist twist abit, the bike become high...

Ha ha, just joking. But seriously, twist twist will make the bike high and low. Those are preload adjusters, fitted as stock on SV650K2 only.

Yes, you can be right. But for me, mileage is a concern too. H rated tires are fun to use but use up fast. But for people like Denden who can push his SV to 220kph, better dun play play. The last time I fitted a BT090, I kenna scolded by a number of mechanics due to safety issue.

i m using 014 now, lasted me for 23k and still using ... (rear goign to botak, front still left abotu 30%). never fail on me b4, but still cracks when i m going highspeed for long distance.

i m thinking of trying the pilot sports or if too expensive, i will consider D208 for the next change.
