From a friend who works in Custom,

 

If u bring in food in packets, usually a pack or two, no need to declare at Red Channel, just tell the officer for personal consumption.

 

However, if u are bringing alot, to play safe, just declare at the customs.

 

The justification of "ALOT" is quite a grey area.. Obviously, bringing in 7 cartons of pudding and saying its personal consumption is abit a lil bit suspicious..

For those of you that went to Kukup last time, remember the Durian stall that was closed?

 

We're going there and we are going to stuff ourselves with SUMPTUOUS and EXHILIRATING PLUSHY D24 durians..

 

We'll eat so much to a point our wonderful breath will smell of the soft, tantalising durian for the whole of next week..

Guys, may I suggest something?

 

I came to realise that we do not have emergency contacts during our trips and touring sessions. I think it's definitely handy in the event of emergencies, where we need to inform the guardian, or identifying blood types or sort.. Its better to be on the safe side I guess..

 

Would it be good if we were to collate a listing of riders profile, including contact info, for future use and emergency usage? Hence, the convoy lead should have the details with him should anything happens.

 

Just suggesting. U guys ok with that?

THeir super luxurious landed development (a full bungalow with porch) is going about RM3mil.. thats like the price of a normal (yawnz) condo in Singapore..

 

but really i think msia needs to wake up their idea on this immigration card issue..

yeah.. i kinda agree to sum extend.. i went to the foreign investment exhibition (under my intern company) and went to look at some of their prospects and future developments.. one that caught my eyes was these gated Bungalow projects at KL (bukit bintang).. 10-15 mins away from KLCC.. the luxury units goes at 5mil RM and its definitely tourist/ expat target..

 

however, i do doubt theIR security and potential political turmoil... as u can see their government is abit shaky as of now.. so i dunnoe if theres chance of blowing up ur investment..

 

another project that caught my eye was a beach villa development at Thailand,.. but i forgot the development name..

 

Sigh.. if only i have the money... lets all chip in and start a NUSRIDERs Investment mutual fund!! kekee... we have two math majors that can deal with the number crunching calculations.
