xianyu says he has to tiptoe, so i probably wont be able to reach. can the suspension be lowered? i wonder if there will be any problems associated with lowering of the suspension

A few ways you can lower the bike

1. Cut the seat. But looking at DRZ, there isnt much to cut off from the seat. Maybe auntie shop do for $30?

2. Set the rear suspension sag lower. This will affect cornering (personally i felt it when my rear suspension died on me...no rebound). But if you use for daily riding i believe u can live with it. This method is free as u only need to turn a few clicks on the suspension.

3. Use a lowering link for the suspension. Lowers the rear of the bike but keeping the sag correct. But will still slightly affect the cornering. Again u can live with it. No idea the cost though. Probably a good link will cost $100?

4. Send to shop to shorten the fork and rear suspension. My guess it will cost a bomb.

5. Cut the subframe. But you dun wanna tamper with the subframe man...

6. Get used to tall bikes. Thats the best option. :D

No regrets.
