that works too..

at night traffic is very light...so just relaks and enjoy riding in absolute darkness..e fun in that is u wont realli know how far u've gone till e sun rises..haha

 

 

actually true ah.. at night, no heat, then u dunnoe where, just ride coolingly to the next destination.. but of course, hopefully no cows / deer will wonder into the road.. thats damn scarry sia..

Used protaper on my WR2 last time...i like this one...

Now using renthal fatbar on my xr....this one ok la...bought 2nd hand $50 onli.. i seldom buy 1st hand stuffs...haha

 

quality u mean is if crash will bend or break? I dunno much abt quality but i do know that if u dont crash it wont bend or break...

 

Personally I prefer high bend...it feels comfortable for me...in fact i m looking for a bar raiser for fatbar...if u happen to see people selling tell me... :D

 

oh i see.. btw faz u got a spare handlebar for borrowing? at most a week.. bend is alright.. juz dun bend to an L can already..

wah very long never read issac posts le.. he busy arh.. wanted to ask him abt handlebars.. anyway faz i presume you have extensive knowledge on it.. protaper or renthal better? in terms of quality vs price..

 

wanna get something lighter.. any idea as to which is better and where's the best place in purchasing them? thanks man.

 

i cant tell u much about protaper or renthal cos ive never used them, but I have used TAG metal before sold at aunty shop. It didnt bend when i crashed my s4.

riding at night is SHIOK!!!!!!!!!!! :cheeky:

 

 

but u gotta rest well the evening before.. as u will feel damn sleepy riding ard 120km/hr for 1-2hr straight...

...that is one of the reasons y ppl tend to go fast to keep them awake...

Actually I don't like riding at night.

Night = Sleep for me even if I have enough sleep.

 

And who say anything about me going Thailand? hahaha. Relax lah havent even get bike yet. Need to work a bit more to cover my inssurance + transfer + rd tax. Machine price cover liao.

There will be a temporary closure of Exit 9 Clementi Road exit (AYE towards TUAS) on the following dates:

 

1. Monday, 12 April (10.30 pm) to Tuesday, 13 April (5 am)

Iz, other than AFAM sprocket and DID X Ring chain any one brand u can recommend tts cheaper than AFAM? it's pricey ah at 280 frm unique..

Haikal, trust me on this. I bought a DID X-ring Gold chain plus "Local" sprocket from LAB (plus fixing). It cost me $135 back then in 2007. I manage to ride it for 2 years with only 1 chain tightening required.

 

Manage to ride it to n fro tampines (Port Dickson, Ayer Keroh, Mersing, Kukup.. So far no problem encountered)

 

The key to achieve that is to constantly maintain (GT85 + Maxima Chain lube) and the product will last u longer.

 

Dun waste your money on AFAM.. Unless ure all for performance.. :) Cheers!

 

PS. for the K5, AFAM sprockets are much cheaper than the OEM suzuki sprockets.. sigh.

last time i changed rk DID chain and original sprockets for $200.
