hello hello does anyone know which shop can do inspection for you...? the letter come alrdy, must do before sept. T_T

the shop wont be the one doing the inspection. they will send ur bike to inspection centres. most bikeshops have this service. just gotta pay. best is for u to send for inspection centre on your own.

yea leave bike at shop. u go urself u see on the spot they inspect for u then once done can ride off.

if nvr pass means cannot renew road tax which means if u need to renew insurance also cannot. must fix what didnt make it then go again. then gotta pay again. unless the uncle nice say u quickly fix it then go back he just check that part for free.

hows bidding people?!

hope u all get your modules...

I bid my module but they didn't send me any email indicating I secure the mod ornot. But I log in to ivle and found my module there. So wads happening?

Ps: harry, there's no need to send ur bike to shop for inspection. Pple onli do that when they have tons of illegal modification on their bikes n they lazy to change back to stock. Just go straight to vicom changi n do ur inspection there. It cost less than $20 whereas shop charge $70-$100. Ur bike is stock no illegal modification so confirm pass.

ok eno (: my bike no mod, just that some guy told me my pipe sound diff, like got mod? i dont even know how to check. BTW I got question... when do people normally clear gem/ss modules...? not 1st yr right.

harry, if u r not sure if ur bike is modded... it might be a good idea for you to go for your inspection at least 2 to 3 weeks earlier...

if they failed the inspection, at least u have time to go to workshop to do it.. just tell the workshop to help u do till u pass ur inspection.. then u go for inspection again..

there's one inspection centre near NUS.. and if u want a trusty shop, i can recommand u one at bukit merah lane (near queesway shopping cetre).. although most of the shop will be able to help u

it depends. usually ppl do not clear during 1st year as they do not have enough general points to bid for gem/ss modules. but there are cases where some of the modules are less popular and u can bid and get that module. its ultimately up to u. ss modules are more to writing essay and history. gems, depending on what u take are just lame. haha.

what module was it? core mod?

and u wont find it in ivle yet. they only start to add students to ivle for the module once the students are more or less confirmed

Hey, its the same case for me.. my modules are up in IVLE but no bidding results email sent to me... I think the modules are secured la.. if it appears in IVLE.. it must be secured.

If you want to double confirm, you can also check the bidding reports in CORS.. I checked ytd even before they added the modules to my IVLE.. hahaha..
