reason why i sometimes appreciate bikes without ABS

X-junction, me going straight, green light in my favour

 

me coming towards the junction, want to continue straight, the light still green, i accelerate

 

powerful super white car from opposite direction, wanting to turn right , dash out into the juntion,

 

me engine brake, wait for the superwhite car to go out

the superwhite car stop inside the junction, out of the pocket, right in my path

 

 

 

this is when i applaud non-ABS..........

squeeze the brakes like there is no tomorrrow, bike skidded off like i trying to do stunts........

and i ended up in the middle lane of the opposite direction

then that superwhite car moved off like he was Alonso, and nvr to be seen

fuhk that car. last week at amk ave1 i think(the junction after the amk library) i was on extreme left lane going straight, suddenly this car decided to swing from 1st lane to turn left and he swinged 3 lanes into the left turn. needless to say i jamed my brakes and turned left too and tailed him for a good few hundred metres. stop at traffic light dun dare to look at me. Thank God my rxz had a racing brake setup, otherwise i become superman.

yeah.. kinda take an interest in liking the older models... the newer one doesnt really exude the large proportions and size.. unlike the bigger ones...

 

i guess they really make them smaller these days.. hate the newer exhaust particularly..

keke.. its more of finance and development management... i guess more in the business sense rather than the physical building aspect of it.. i.e. project financing, investment point of view, valuation.. that kinda stuff... little about the actual building itself in terms of maintenance and contracting..

 

so i have no idea of torching a roof or retiling it.. keke

exams over today and i'm lost. i didnt know what to do...hahaha

 

went borders and read magazines for 2 hrs! the new R1 is yummy! 179 hp vs iz's 177hp. hehehe

 

and the firing sequence is different...not the usually 2 up, 2 down, following rossi's m1 sequence. supposedly allow the power delivery to be more smooth and precise.

fun indeed! but comes with a lot of sacrifice. no holidays...no exchange...no overseas trip...only can take certain modules...need to attend uncredited night classes..lots of late night...lots of deadlines..very hectic...etc

 

BUT experience is priceless!
