Hi everyone, got myself a forty eight few weeks ago, curious about the cleaning and polishing regime esp in sg condition. Any tips from the pros .. dos and don't.

Ace Custom Tony, moved back to JB to semi retire. for Harley servicing and repairs,  i recommend Sanfu at Kaki Bukit.   Just google it.  They are efficient both in cost and time taken.  Simple

well joining hog is up to individual preferences. I join coz just to see what its about...well too bad never join their activities due to work.

Seen many outings, ussually ang mohs. not many locals.

Don't know him personally. If he works there he should be friendly if you're asking him about enquires. Maybe just a bad day for him...... :)

 

 

That fellow is a very poor sales person. He should undergo serious training.

as mentioned, ask one question and his face is black and unfriendly.

guess thats why he is where he is today?

 

plus its a bloody ugly beng looking Sportster he has.

To what i know when i was working at HD, joining HOG is just a choice, you can either be part of HOG or not, or you can even join the other MC or MG which are independent but are promoting riding Harleys...

 

Other than that, HOG do have their own activities as well as you'll be invited to participate in the other asian HOGs activities....This is to promote an extensive networking of Harley owners because riding Harleys doesn't mean just riding the bikes but also to be able to utilize it's advantages by extending your network of people be it either just to socialize or for business purposes...

 

I've seen all types of reasons why Harley owners do what they do and it's up to each own individual intentions...Most of course just enjoy the rides and at most talked about the bikes, the wind in their hair experiences, so forth..

 

All in all, HD want each of it's owners to be themselves and decide what they want to do for themselves....Most important is HD is the most popular bike that provided an image for all of it's owners worldwide under one flag, Harley Owners Group....

 

I hope that this is would be a good enough explanation to why most HD owners join or don't join HOG...Cheers...

Hmmm..... my last experience there was quite good but i didn't meet that guy with the specs. I went there to get a helmet at an agreed price. But the salesperson asked me to wait while he get someone else to get it from somewhere else. After waiting for about 25mins, the guy said "paiseh, you wait so long" and gave me a $10 discount. Luckily i didn't meet the guy with the specs. ha ha. :)

 

Mr. Throttle, i saw from other threads that you quite familiar with the Forex Market. I know you are not a medium :bow: , but do you see the market going up in the next 2-3 weeks (sorry, a bit off topic). I plan to get a bike soon so want to off load some of my counters.......:cheers:

Forex is forex, stock is stock

your counters are stock market i presume, so if you think i'm familiar with forex, you shouldnt ask me.

Yes, it's kind slow past few days now for the stock exchange...It's best to stay put to where you are now as the market won't jump at any point now, it might move slowly upwards but it'll also move down fast too...All in all, Singapore's stock exchange is still in the fair range...Cheers...

Well, it's not just that bro, the reason why it's called a Pan Head is because, the top head is the exact design of an upside down pan that's used in making pizzas during those times, and so forth, the Pan Head was given to the design...Cheers....
