You guys must really ride conservative on the Malaysian highways. Yesterday I only got 13.7km per litre. Averaged about 160 km/h though.

Ride it like you stole it

I only ride approx. 120~130km/h, I just can't tahan the windblast, anyway enjoy riding at that speed

Thanks dt222 for your guidelines.

I guess my best ever did ctuising on Singapore highway was about 19km+-. When throttle happy becomes 15km+-.

Mine is FI and has some done up in the engine and ECU remapped. I don't expect to be same as stock but wanting to know how far off is mine.

Thanks to dt222 and shiraz !

hi, just info for you, my ride under stock is lower consumption, at 18+km/L.

the 19+ figure is after stage 1 air kit, re-mapped & with SE slip on torque mufflers, quite satisfied as more lively and with louder bang.. :)

Cheers.

it is the Screaming Eagle Stage 1 kit, item that replacing all the stock air cleaner (air filter housing etc) to increase the torque (as quoted by the HD catalogue).

This required re-calibration (many call it remap)

just to share about the costing:-

SE Air cleaner kit - $300+

ECM (Re-calibrate) - 300+

SE Slip on torque mufflers - 500+

Total cost to put a smile on my face - 1k after 20% discount..

come to think about it, perhaps more satifaction come from the typical exhaust note after spending this amount.

any way, I put more money on the product that keep it clean & no rust, backache when come to do cleaning.

Cheers & happy riding.
