they actually are passing the annual inspection but its the ROV that they are dodging. To date i've never heard of customized choppers being pulled over.

i was riding one before so i can vouch for it. Wonder about others.

haben try Sunhog, but i guess it wont be that far off.

Ever thought about leaving the bike there in the morning before the shop opens, you go to work. Liase with them over the phone.

I assuming you intend to do servicing. (All others best be there) Return in the evening after work and pick it up.

As for Tony, his workshop is 'Custom Cycles'

 

i service (oil n oil filter) my own sporty but not the bigger ones.

yah, got a number of feedback that it could be a weak battery when starting bike, just gotta go get it confirmed.

Could it be loose wiring? Happened to mine before. Loose connection. Couldn't find the problem. Ended up totally no power cannot start bike, $50 cab ride with my bike. How old is your bike?

and btw, i keep reading about Loctite while attaching screws and stuff... really necessary?

 

just installed a backrest myself and didn't use any tightening solvents (i think this is what Loctite does)

Mine about same. 2 yrs. Apparently the loose connection was at the OTHER side of the bike where we can't see or access via the battery compartment.

 

Not sure about Loctite. I just buy spare screws and carry a set of tools along. hahaha. I think there's that washer can use to help. Dunno wat's the name called. Was thinking of rubber washers will help but scared melt off man.

anyway found the loctite, i think i better use it on the bolts just in case they drop off while i am running my ass off...

Its better to use spring washer rather than loctite.

If you were to change anything and needs to remove the nut, you will have a problem.

i cannot really confirm, but cos i dunno where exactly it is, (and it's 3am in the morning and i'm still here, f*** , when i'm working at 830am) i will say maybe after 6, check this space tmr (today) ba, i'll try to remember to bring the loctite if i am coming.

yah i tot that too, but since loctite is adjustable with slightly a bit more force, it's fine by me... and i also dun wanna remove them anyways...

Gather @ dealership @ 10am.

 

This event is open to all Harley owners/riders.

It's purely another reason to meet-up & move-out.

Visit 2 children's home. Spread some cheer & draw some smiles.
