Ace Custom Tony, moved back to JB to semi retire. for Harley servicing and repairs,  i recommend Sanfu at Kaki Bukit.   Just google it.  They are efficient both in cost and time taken.  Simple

I have a sportster, and I love it; but with regards to your question:

 

imo Sportster is not really "Sporty", so it can't be called a "Sport" anything!!! (oK, It's more sporty than the other HD's, but that's not a very wide range to compare)

Sportster is an agile, good, and stylish commuter, much easier to use in heavy traffic & large cities than it's bigger brothers.

This is an informal colloquial term frequently used in the industry.

 

and yes, it's true that the 'sporty' is regarded as a city dweller.

i know so as i own a big twin and a sporty and have ridden to KL & back with either. The comfort level is apparent.

i did see the '08 model of sporty but cant tell if it was a 883 or 1200

(had me eyes on the big twins)

urgh, after coming out from sumsoon, i am looking at 150km per full tank

:(

now monitoring for 3rd round, if still 150km i have to pay a visit to somewhere else liao.

Can't be so bad right? My least is 19km/L and that's with anyhow madman riding and dirty filters. Go get it checked man. Air Filter etc? I just changed all my oils and filters. Pocket pain a bit but seems smoother now. Yet to try if I can actually hit pass 140km/h. At least now I can do low speed high gears without feeling the engine drag like an old lady knocking on a bathroom door. Plus the 'clank' when engaging first gear isn't that loud anymore.

Sorry, just got my comp back from servicing la so couldn't post much. Anyway the traffic today was quite bad. Nvm. We post-phone the ride till probably next week or week after. I think week after la. Next week mad busy. Sigh. Plus let the ASEAN Summit finish first so we don't have to ride past a ready audience of TPs. :cheeky:
