i m a newbie i always want such a information to be saved from these bloody speed traps. I just follow a principle why can't we drive on such a speed which the vehicle provide us . One of my friend suggested trapster . its a nice online service provider which also installs on the cellphone so you could be saved while you are on the road . LoL i just don't want to be catched by those bloody cops.

I tio on Nicoll highway, but they only send me a warning letter instead of summon.

I was wondering why some people got summons but others got a letter of warning only?

Is it when TP catches you on the road, summon and points will be issued on the spot. But if caught by camera, they will might review and see whether to summon or warning by letter?

Anyone can explain?

If you are the 1st timer speeding based on your register number plate they will just issue you a warning letter instead of summon .... :)

Help! Help!:bouncefire:

I tio at KJE going towards Jurong, the TP at overhead bridge at CCK this afternoon.

Was riding at about 105 on the 90km/hr Eway.

Will I get fine or izzit 20km above speed limit then they will fine?????

And also which speed camera more accurate in catching speedsters?

Those camera fixed at the middle of the divider or the portable ones manned by TP on top of overhead bridges???

Slightly off-topic.

The recommended speed of the German autobahn is 130 km/h (81 mph), but there is no general speed limit. In fact, autobahn is restricted to motor vehicles capable of traveling at least 60 km/h (37 mph). No speed cameras, no lurking traffic police - everything is transparent. And I have not seen as many accidents there as on Singapore crippled expressway network.

But, I guess, the German autobahn approach is not very much suitable for Singapore, as technically everything is 'city limits' here...

Fine, here is another way then:
