Hi Vince,

Eh, a slight correction - it was 4 years. Anyway, the love affair with my monster has ended. Haha!

Oh yes... 4 years. Heh heh heh...

I remember everytime I went down to visit Mike, you're always there busy with the machinery and getting parts together for your bike.

Yeah, it's finally ended. Hoping to see you into another project bike when you have time Daniel.

Cheers!

Hi Vince,

88DB is a classifieds website where I got the bike ad from. The posting is still up... hehehe http://sg.88db.com/sg/views/postDetails.aspx?PostID=88360. I fell in love with yellow Monty the minute I saw it. Grabbed it the same day I viewed it and settled transfer the next day and the bike was in my carpark the same day!

There was another black duc for sale on yahoo auctions but too ex. Owner was asking for 5.8k for FQ plate and I need to buy a new plate no cos owner wanted to keep it.

So you knew about this bike? It's old but aesthetically refurbished. The engine is still running fine but like any old bike, needs tweaking here and there. I heard about the "normal" screeching problem but a simple trick of inserting aluminium sheet solved the problem. Here's my GURU's site: http://http://www.ducatisuite.com/brakepads.html

Cheers Ducateers!

Oh.. so you got this bike. It's partly related to me somehow. Heh heh heh.

When chances allow, let me tell you about the relationship between your "Yellow" and my "Red" ex monster. Heh heh heh They are somehow "trasnformed"

You bike and CMYRS bike both now relative. Heh heh... This is making me roll and laugh..

Great bike anyway and this Yellow have always been maintain very well by the last owner. She got it at Kallang Cycle.

Cheers!

Eh, no more project bike... yet. My new love is my avatar, an Aprilia Tuono R, another Italian erotica. Opps, I mean exotica. :p

Hi motocafe: Thanks for the reply. I'm just surprised that after all the hard work (4 YEARS!!!) you put into your monster... you are giving it up. How do you feel man?

You must have gained many valuable experience while modding it. Open another Duc workshop perhaps? Specialise in mods!

Cheers Ducateers!

Sadly, can't keep - too many bikes. Had 4 bikes, sold 1. Left 3, hopefully sell monster than keep 2. In Sillypore, insurance & roadtax too costly - that's why the monster has been laid up.

Wah so many bikes. Agree with the cost bit!

All the best with the sale of your "oh so awesome" and DML-featured bike!

I am looking at the Tuono and Multistrada as a future bike to get. Must get Class 2 first though.

Cheers Ducateers!

Hi Guys,

I am looking for a M400 which I owned abt 7 years ago. It's special in the following areas:

Anodized red M900 fork

Dual disk brakes

M900 swingarm

Ohlins rear shock

Yoshi dual pipes

oil cooler

Red with old style monster sticker

Chop tail with single seat cover

Red rims

CF front fender

Big bore to 543cc

So long ago until i forgot the number plate. Sold to a Navy officer then. Last seen in bad condition at Changi Naval base.

If anyone knows where it's whereabouts, please let me know.

Willing to pay cash.

Aside to that, anyone interested in selling a M900, please let me know as well.

Thanks for the help in advance.

Cheers

What I did was use some fine metal sandpaper to sand smooth the frame surface and wipe off the dust with a wet cloth and let it dry over a cig.

Then that's where the high temp can spray starts action.

I did also the manifold but it lasted 2 to 3 months at first. And then usually I touch up with the high temp spray again. But the sanding really wear me down.

High temp spray can be found at most hardware shop and selling from SGD$8 to $12. The brand I use is RJ or something like this. You should be able to do a search for "HIGH TEMP" spray in this forum.

Yeah, I still visit 2nd link every friday without miss. Even if it's alone. DO join me when you can.

I suggest you all organize a DIY frame spray at opp. LAB MSCP.

Very big space... and easy to get parts from LAB if needed.

Cheers!

I'm keen if you're thinking of doing a mod for a belly pan for your monster. I've been toying with this idea for a while now.
