Hi all, Dilip was involved in a hit and run this morning. He has been discharged and currently recuperating from abrasions and some stitches.

Checked with him and he's OK but painful laa, of course.

Anyways, appealing to anyone who witnessed the accident to please make yourself known.

Anyone who commits a hit and run should be brought to serious justice.

can someone pm me his number pls?

I believe at was about 1045am yesterday?

S2 or S4 with white tank and red stripe?

Most people go through life following the crowd.

Others think for themselves.

They go their own way.

my FC is 14-15km/l. i full tank can bring me abt 180km. worst FC i've seen was my first ramli session - 10km/l. in my opinion, your FC is good if not considered average.

this topic has been brought up countless times. your FC is considered average if not quite good to some ppl. take pride and pleasure that its a ducati that you own. if you feel uncomfortable with your FC, drop by your friendly mecha and check it out. also bare in mind, if your bike is more then 10 yrs old, it might be due to wear and tear.

things that you can try:

- service your carbs

- do a full servicing

- top overhaul

- check your A/F ratio

- drop size for the fuel jetting

- lose weight

- only throttle like 1cm.

well.....just my 2 cents worth.

It seems high to me cause my bro monster 900 FC is 16km/l and mine is 17km/l for a 400cc. Oh, and i have a problem with my bike. My 4th gear, when i kick it up from 3rd to 4th it seems like kicking from 1st to 2nd. It have something in between. It will get in something like neutral if i never kick hard and all the way up, and get into "neutral" between the 3rd and 4th gear. Wonder what's the problem.

oohhh.....now i know who u are.

then ask randy and his other 900 friend how much their FC. rest assured, your FC is ok.

i also experience that "kicking neutral" feeling. can be adjusted. the lever just doesnt go into the socket. just bring it down to raymond and tell him whats wrong.

Not yet. Only done basic servicing. Engine oil and spark plug.

My 400 cc with GPR pipes on a full tank can do 340++ km max which is 19 to 21km per liter... now can't and will never achive that with so many performance parts.. Anyway wat i did to achieve 340km :

Wash Carb

Valve Clearance

New timing Belts

Tuning

Engine oils

Spark plugs

New original air filters or Knn air filters (Optional)

$$ abt $300++ to $400... since u just change oils and plugs it should be much cheaper as u dont have to change oils and plugs again.. it seems a lot of $$ but think abt it a full service can last u at least 1 year or 2 years++ and it also boost ur bike performance as ur carb is clean and ur valve is free from dirt and carbon..

19 to 21km per liter depends on ur riding style is guaranteed.. tested and proven by me... Cheers...!!

hmm.. my FC is about 22km/l on average, about 300km before reserve comes on. much traffic riding and dragging the bike brings me to about 20.5km/l.

using termignoni, knn filters, tyre pressure normal.

that to me is pretty decent. however, i have experienced a phase when my bike was doing an average of 17km/l to 18ish tops. never made it past that mark and honestly i was quite troubled by that figure. did a proper (proper mechs who know how to do ducs)valve clearence, changed my timing belt and serviced the carb. thats how it went back up and alot smoother ride now. worked for me.

but sometimes really depends on how you ride. maybe you those kind like to vroom vroom a little too much ya? :)
