Nope, the one at Ayer Keroh today. Taman Uni another time. Got no GPS yet

I rode to Kota Tinggi today and realised my front tire had a slow leak, by the time I reached the waterfalls I could hardly steer. Luckily I didn't fall at the twisties. One of the fellas I rode with had a canister of puncture sealant and I managed to continue the ride after using it.

My question is:

How long can I ride with my tire now? Do I need to change it asap? And if I do, where should I go, any tire recommendations? Sorry for the newbie questions.

u can still use it, u don't have to change it.. Since u already patch the tires it would last u another 2 months or so.. if u want to change might as well change both front & rear.. I usually go to race werks for tires I'm using Dunlop gpr A10.. very sticky for road and very good for track as well.. U can try the shop HKL they do have crazy sales for tires from time to time..

I did my tires at HKL. I used Dunlop Alpha 10s for front and rear $330 for M400. I using Michelin Pilot Road 2CT for $400 for my ST4. So depends on your bike, choose accordingly.

Dunlop Alpha 10s are great gripping tires but they last very short before squaring off. About 5000-8000km. Very grippy track tires with road use as well. get this if you have class 2a monster/bikes

Pilot Road 2CT last damn long so far >4000km still nice and round. Sidewalls are soft and grippy. Have not tracked with them yet. Can feel the confidence in the cornering so far. Get this if you have class 2 bike

Cool Ducati 916 in a Movie..

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ug2THDbAH4Y

When I wonder why the 916 is so untouchable in the early 90s and why it costs so much, I just look at all the LJ car around that era and you compare the 916 with all the LJ squarish crap cars, no wonder it looks way ahead of its time and performs fantastic too.

Eh Randy, buy a 916 then can also squeeze in between 2 trailers.

i rode my tires after punctured and patched up till maximum tyre wear.

i had 2 patched in one tire in total.I rode it easy and not too aggressive.

the only downside is that u need to be aware of tyre pressure ...wait,tyre pressure need to be monitored constantly with or without patched tyres.

i suggest bridgestone.last good grip value for money.

if u are a trackday junkie.do go on patched tyres.

Errrr, I don't think he needs a 916 to squeeze in between 2 trailers. He'll do it with any bike!
