Looks like you are really keen to get a Monsta huh! Seems to me that there is only a few for sale at any one time, so it's really good to start looking then you would get a good bargain. Did you check out the otehr Monsta at classified? Red FQ one?

I reckon you should sell off and buy in by yourself rather then bike shops to get good prices.

Hello brothers and sisters,

I'm have a pair of dunlop tires (originals that came with the monster 400) that has done 5300Km although they are more than 2 1/2 years old, condition is still good.

Hoping to recover some cash to pay for my new tires. And don want to waste them as they are still good. I don know how much its worth. I also don know what other bikes they are suitable for. If you are interested, can PM me by 4th Dec 2005 because I'll be changing the tires on 5th Dec 2005 morning. Thanks.

The pair can be worth around $60 to $80, without installation.

Where are you getting your tyres changed?

I'l be changing them at Ducati Centre(Kallang). Appointment 5th Dec 9.00am. Don't know if they allow to keep the old tires there and for how long.

This will be my first visit

Anybody have done a TAIL CHOP on your monster and high mount exhaust?

I'd love to have some comments before doing so.

Coz taking inches away and I might regret later for not able to put them back prior to inspection.

Came across this site that sell the kit.

http://www.1tail.com/sa/cart/detail.asp?pg...E-8767EC7C6721}

Also there is a DIY instruction here:

http://speedzilla.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1711

I know I know... it's already breaking the law. Damn the laws. I don't really see what harm by taking some bits of the tail.

Cheers!

Why don't you just get the fender eliminator? Don't chop it off yet, just take off the "duck bill" at the back, fabricate a bracket for the licence plate and signal lights.

Are those HArris grips?

They look nice :thumb: But after awhile (like a year or so) they turn yellow!

Handlebar should cost between $100 and $150. Get a pro-taper one, and cut off the ends otherwise it might be too wide.
