Anyone install Ohlin rear suspension on their ZX10R?

Is it worth the money?

How is it?

Thanks!

For a '04 ZX10R, which size should I use for the Brembo master pump?

Where can I get the cheapest?

Thanks!

Why is Leo Vince cheaper than GPR?

The price was quoted to me by Gerry Loois.

I've remove the exhaust valve and the servo motor doesnt move sometimes thus causing the FI light to appear. Anyway to bypass this?

You have to be clearer in how you 'removed the exhaust valve'. Did you physically remove the valve from the link pipe? Did you pull out the cables connecting the servo motor to the exhaust valve?

A servo motor free of its installed cable should continue to move normally even with the cables removed and should not result in EFI error. If not, chances are you have a siezed or soon to sieze servo motor.

the servo motor is faulty i guess.it stops moving sometimes resulting in the EFI error. is there anyway i can bypass that? i wouldn't wana replace it man.. abit redundant rite?

Get Ivan's servo motor eliminator. Save that precious tiny space for $180. I have it on my bike and so far it's been working fine.

Just in case you think bypassing the servo is as easy as them Suzuki bikes, think again. Suzuki servos only output a constant ohm when the ECU sends it signal to the motor instructing it to turn. This makes it easy to to bypass the entire thing simply by shorting the servo circuit with a small resistor of the required value.

The servo for the 10R and 636 is complicated in the sense that it outputs a different ohmic value for every different angle the servo plate is turned. This logically requires a variable resistor but not just any ordinary one but one that changes it value with the input signal that turns the servo plates.

Ivan has managed to solve this problem, and has designed his solution into a TRE size like device. It's small and definately pretty ingenious considering the logic behind cracking the servo motor on a 10R or 636.

Alternatively, you could buy my old servo motor. It'll let it go at $25. It's still working pretty well the last time i plucked it out.

Done in motortiam or DIY?

Have it checked on the wiring, not very healthy. If he has a PC have that check. Try plug back to original ECU to see if the light still lit.

I was recommended to keep the servo and exhaust valve. Unless you are having a full system then you got to remove. Actually the removing of servo and exhaust valve are for Suzuki bikes (especially K3-K4 1000).
