if u are running stock it's not a good choice becos race filters are very high flow filters. it will not perform as the air ratio will be more than required. unless u have a min full exhaust it is not necessary.

I like it because it gives me confidence, it'll let me challenge myself....

everytime iI ride on it, and discovers the wind is in front of me, I throttle, it'll let me race with the wind.......

I lay low, to reduce wind drag, keep racing forward.....

in the end I won against the wind.....

Bikelab is carrying this. From what I know is that the creator of DNA, previously worked for K&N. After he left the company, he improvised the product and VOI . . . LA . . . .DNA. If you compare the two, you will realised that DNA filter is having a wider pitch than the K&N. This enhanced the air flow. This is another alternative we have beside the popular K&N and BMC.

Is the performance and price as competitive?

I can't comment on the performance. Yes, price wise it is as competitive.

yo, since u already have a knn, don have to waste money on another filter. knn and bmc very similar. heard they were something like honda and acura... sony and aiwa.... (belonging to the same person after one company was bought by the other) unless u have someone else with the same config as ur bike but running a diff filter to show significant difference, u needn worry too much. besides... how fast u want to go???? :p it's already so much faster and stronger than most of the bikes in stock condition. now aftermarket filters for me is just a way to save money.... just have to wash, don't have to change.

but end of the day, it's ur choice. :) me and all the bros here can only give u our 3 cents worth of opinion.

oh ya, sorry i forgot to add, i'm using a street legal akra now with bmc race, so far my bike is not giving me problem.

so i guess, if u have a min straight flow slip-on u should do fine lor...
