Did you try Arrow pipe on your bike? Arrow sounds fierce even when idling... but people told me that the Arrow pipe do not last long...many vibration after some time.

 

Yeah..AKRA sounds great at high RPM...sound like 2 stroke liao at high RPM.

hi there guys,nid some help on mi bike.i've just instaled e pc3 usb n knn fiter to mi bike.also had change both mi tyre wif stock fr size n rear is 190/55.before these change,mi rear is 190/50.its feels taller n turn quick..these add on change mi ride.i got less engine power on dwn shift n smooth throttle respond unlike e stock settings.i've nt done mi custom mapping n tuning yet.wats the cause of these???n also do i nid to retuned mi suspension again cause i can feel all the bump unlike mi previous 1.currently mi bike got e slip on n high comp gaskets.pls do help mi on these guys,thanx....

Hi bro,

From what I read and checked personally, the 55 certainly will give you are quick turn in compared to 50.

But (after sometime with wear/tear usage), the 55 profile will eventually become lessser and lesser... and this is the time where you will experience sluggish handling.

That's why for long run...just use the 50 (economy mah).

 

But if money is not an issue (I mean the moment sluugish handling...just change another one) then go for 55 lah. You will get best faster / smoother turn in speed.

 

As for the bump, yes..you may feel different from the 50 obviosly. Therefore, some adjustmend on the suspension is a must. You speedo will also give an error of say about 10km/hr by using 55.

 

As for the PC3, a mapping is a must,bro. Get it tuned to suit your bike/riding style.

I am sure with the PC3 and correct mapping, you will have a super duper engine performance bike. One thing for sure...you will get better millage and smooth power delivery at every minute of twist the throttle.

But most importantly...send to a good shop for tuning ; otherwise your ECU will be corrupted.

(so far only the stock kawi 06/07 comes with 55. the rest of the manufacturer still sticks with 50 as stock).

maybe we can ask our self "why".

K7 also comes with stock 50.

Maybe it is due to the sluggish handling issue after wear/tear compared to the 50 which is more practical for road user.

But if you play track...then u must go for 55 liao.
