Yes, there will be manufactures parking area as usual.

 

But be careful parking there. Every year, sure got some bikes stolen there eventhough it is under guarded.

The best is park in the hotel or known shop area.

 

Heard now the big bikes theft is on the rise on JB and also in Kuala Lumpur area.

I will be parking the bike somewhere safer place and drive there. Once bike missing in Malaysia, can forget abour recovery,bro.

Last year also got few R1 missing at Sepang during the race day.

(MotoGP time is the shopping spree for the theft). One more item that easy to go missing is dampers.

NTUC quote me about $1800

 

Call AIG , they refer me to Anda Insurance. They say they do'nt take kawasaki class 2 sportsbike.

i believe should be about $1200++ leh ...if not where will pple want to ride kawa liaoz .....some more the bike 2-3 years old liaoz ..still so "Fierce the price "

1st party last year i paid just under $1200, 28 years old with no ncd, bike 2 years old. I expect it to be just under or around 1k this year with the bike 1 year older and ncd.

 

I believe you'll have to go thru their authorised agents to get AIG insurance, so best to call Dili.

For all the questions...

 

Full tank stock should be around 200-220km till reserve light, after that you've got about another 3 litres in the tank.

 

10Rs will leak a little oil around the head gasket, just seems to be normal and we're all used to it.

 

Earlier 04s have been known to have generator failures due to wonky shims. This was corrected in the 05s. So far i know of two that have encountered this problem in sg. I'm still waiting for my 04 to blow it's generator.

Kawasaki's aren't some weird creatures which only few people understand. I'm sure any competent mechanic would be able to work on them.

 

My bike's been taken care of by Clifford @ KnT since day one.

My vote goes to ah tak. He's got the workshop manuals for both the 04/05 and 06/07 models and does not hesitate to refer to them if he needs to. Plus he's got at least 6 regular customers with 10s so he knows the bikes quite well. His prices are also reasonable and i like the way he treats my bike.

how abt servicing & maintenance....

1. Engine oil - change abt 5000km

2. Oil filter - is it every alternate engine oil change or when change engine oil oso must change oil filter ?

3. Spark plugs - shld last more than 10,000km

4. Air Filter how long change ? or juz wash ?

5. Any more things to do for regular servicing ?

And oso running on Bt014 tyres now..... normal tyre right ???
