i went dwn to evershine n ask them for tat item.the guy told mi, it cost 250 bucks for tat,somemore he said left don hv onli got right,wtf...might as well mend n spray it wud be cheaper..anyone hv spare.....?

reserve fuel blink at 210km

pumped at 235km -> pumped 14.5L

 

So tat means i am having 16.2 km/L

Run till dry shld give 275km for 1 full tank

hehhehehhe

ayuluv are you topping the tank all the way up? Don't stop when the petrol reaches the bottom of the neck, fill it to the brim. Or else go see ah tak for advice, maybe he can do a more economical remap for you.

Thanks bro.. Normally I filled it to the brim untill when more petrol is pumped, it will drain away. I did always keep track of the petrol pumped and the milleague travel. Best i wil get is 14-15 km/l

 

Not really sure what is wrong with it. So far the thing i had done is :

 

* TRE

* Disabling of Exhaust valve

 

Below are the items i had got it quite sometime ago but never put into use yet:

 

* PC III

* Muzzy fan

 

So far is lidat. Any lobang for akrapovic Carbon hex st legal one?? hahah

TRE = timing retard eliminator. In ayu's case he's using the 2-in-1 GiPro gear indicator+TRE.

 

ayu, what's your gipro TRE setting now? i think vol used to run it with the hard setting, maybe you can try turning it off and see how your mileage is affected?

Its Timing Retard Eliminator - suppose to make the low - mid better and nicer to handle (Thanks to bro myxilplix)

Hi, I am using a normal TRE leh. Not alex GI PRO. I know before I fix the TRE, it was ard 14-15km/L. After I fix it.. it went 12-13km/L. Than i remove the exhaust valve system, the milleague improve to 14-15km/l. Duno wats the problem... haiz...

Hi bro,

 

My yellow light used to come out around 200km with full tank. (that is if i ride mostly on high gear= not hard riding= ride soft soft one= take care the engine/tyre one).

But if I ride mostly on second gear / third gear = ride hard= accelerate hard and play corner hard, then my millage get only about 150 to 160 km only.

 

I also notice if I fill up in Malaysia, the shell not very good. Engine feel rough.

Their Mobil F1 good lei....feel more Vrooooooooooommmmmm!!

Oh damn ayu sorry, i keep thinking you're riding alex's old bike. My bike has the kawa high-comp gasket, some head work apparently and is PC3 mapped for my race/illegal akra, but i ride it daily with my stock pipe+akra map and the mileage is the best i've seen from it. Even better then before the pc3 or exhaust.

 

Cyanide, the TRE is a plug-in module that disables the ignition timing retard suzis and kawas have in the lower gears(to make the bikes easier to handle and less likely to spit the riders off). This apparently makes the bikes more punchy in the low and mid range in the lower gears. TREs usually fool the ecu into thinking the bike is in a higher gear (5th/6th) or sometimes even neutral. The GiPro unit i have on my bike actually has 4 different settings, but the one that actually feels good really brings the mileage down. Some of the other settings are very laggy in terms of throttle response, so nowadays i just run with the TRE disabled.

THanks bro for sharing the info. Perhaps I should go down mr ah tak there to have a look liao... Btw, akra map + stock pipe gives best milleague? I will have to try that now. Petrol now getting ex leh... hahah...

 

Perhaps I should fix the PC III so the fuel consumption can be adjust. Not sure is it because stock map is really too rich...

 

P/S: As for alex bike, no worries.. its my friend oso.. haha.. but his milleague also not very good. I tink he shd be viewing this thread too.. hahah
