Is it Legal to ride a Bobber style bike in Singapore?

im was thinking of buying myself a Honda Shadow 125 and customising it into a Bobber. i've been told from friends that its not legal to have one in singapore is it true? because i still have a few questions unanswered.

 

The idea of have in mind in customising my Honda Shadow is the Paint Job, Seats, and handlebars, Exhaust pipe(Silvertail KO2) if possible. i don't understand why is it illegal. how big of a deal could that be?

 

i would appreciate if someone could feed me with heaps of information based on this issue.

1. What is bobber style? Is it a chopper/cruiser style bike modification?

 

2. There r guidelines for bike modification.

Dunno about bike building though. Don't think its allowed to be registered.

Bobbers are illegal only in spore.

Why? - D dictators says so. Chopping d frame & instal a single seat like those bobbers illegal bcos it is not "originally manufactured that way". Handlebars that r too wide or too high oso no-no. bcos they say it will impede d bike handling ability n b danger to rider. Same reason for cutting d rear frame.

 

I paid fr my ride n they dictate wat i can n cannot do on it. why worry its dangerous fr me?
