Reverse sensor in taxi

I am wondering if taxis have these sensors or not.

According to some friends, these are optional parts.

I think taxis should have reverse sensors to prevent them from ramming backwards into bikes in/around parking lots.

And also to prevent possible cases of banging into people back facing them.

Whatever is the reason, having the sensors definitely will promote safety and avoid unneccesary problems.

I have seen one reverse without checking mirrors and reversing so fast that he bang into a stationary bike beside a parking lot.

:sian:

Imagine if its a person back facing him standing beside the lot.

They usually travels fast and reverse fast; hence with or without the reverse sensor, it plays a small part in promoting accidents. :giddy:

They should have a speed recorder and every time they exceeded 90km/h for more than 5seconds, it will be recorded into the "blackbox" with date/time and speed recorded. If it is genuinely an emergency, then get someone to verify and if otherwise, then a warning be issued. :)
