Hey guys, got a question to ask.

Anyone of you here mounted a top box?

I have a Givi E450, but find that it greatly reduces the stability of the bike.

Intend to change to a smaller sized one.

Any recommendations? Which model will not affect the stability?

Preferably it should look nice when fitted onto our bike also.

Thanks!

i understand that we are not recommended to have all 3 boxes on together, IF u intend to travel at high speeds...

think many of the FJR/ST guys install those small camera-boxes, but cant really put much inside though... its a trade-off....

IMHO, i've tried both the Cruise control and also the Throttle-rocker, i personally feel that there's more benefit from using the throttle-rocker. WHY?

very simple, u cant really use the Cruise control alot of times, bcos u really need a straight + clear road to use, for safety reasons.... u wont use it when there's a car/bike infront u?? and it does kind-of "slips", which means u find that yr speed is slowly decreasing with the control locked.

wheras the throttle-rocker u can rest yr palm there for most (if not all) of the time. riding long distance with it makes a whole world of difference to me (and esp my arm and shoulder)

Vista Cruise is good to have, but my personal priority will be the throttle-rocker... "dun leave home without it"

hope this helps...

u can find it at M-tecknik at ubi ave 2 or 3, cant remember. u can go check the price, and i think its value for money. dun bother comparing it with the LAB thing, bcos there isnt any ground for comparison at all if u use it.

another alternative is crampbuster, but pple i know prefers throttle rocker.

there's a thread in accessories and gadgets on cramp buster, u can read about it. there's some discussion on it about vista cruise too, similar to what nakano has stated. i share similar sentiments anyway

personally, i find the LAB $2 thingy crap! perhaps use ard for daily ride still ok, but not that good for long rides... throttle-rocker still da Best :thumb:

cant comment on cramp-buster though.. never tried before...

of course best to have both the Vista Cruise and Throttle-rocker!!

capirexx: when u coming out for meetups?? haha, muz show everyone your special-edition TP-FJR!!
