Hi to all FJR owner me new here just bought a 2nd hand FJR 02 model does anyone know where to get back rest for my pillion suitable to use it with our original seat???

FYI there is no pillion back rest for FJR. the only way to do is fix a givi top box as back rest :cheeky:

Have.. who say dun have... but be prepared to fork out up to USD$600 for the seat and back rest. It comes in a pair as the back rest only can fit into this seat. See the pics below... Should fit pre 04 models as well.

Cheaper to get Sing Kwang to custom make a brackett and then get someone to put in the cushion and upholstery. The Corbin seat looks good but the backrest looks rather flimsy.

mine look like this but i never order the rack, cost abt $300... my fren got sk to make a similar one for his GS, total cost abt $200 including the cushion..

bro did u get the picture from tis guy in fjrforum in US??? coz the rack too kind of same... by the way where did u get the rack done??? i made on from seng kwang but for my pelican box only...

 

by the way the back rest for 200 is cheap ah.. is ssit removable???

 

how all how about ask capirex friend help us do anyone keen??

Whew! Jus renewed my insurance with NTUC yesterday.

Nett Premium : S$543 (after 20+5+5% discounts)

Added-On : S$25 (S$1000 of accessories coverage for the Ohlins shock)

Coverage Type : TPFT

 

Now left the inspection and paying of road tax.

Usd $600 tat ex man....

I think free got to go S K to chk it out $200 to $300 still can afford... Just bought the bike a bit broke liao... Try not to spend to much slowly man...

Anyway just install my fairing sliding yesterday $150 buck.... Locally make copy from the original ( no drilling needed ).. My mechanic took a week to find for me... It since tat acces for FJR seen quite limited in SPORE..

Onli a few shop have... Went to motorworld to see look saw the REMUS exhaust end can cost ard $1600 sia..Then they onli have other stuff like balancer, grip , tank bra , headlight protector for my bike.. More or less tat about it..... No other stuff or option liao.... :thumb:

Think I would prefer a backrest for myself instead of for the pillion if I was to make one, :angel:

It doesn't make any difference whether a motorcyclist has the right-of-way or not, the rider is the one most likely to get hurt.

Check to make sure that your fairing slider protudes far enough to protect your front signal lights, or else you will have to find one that is longer because normally the ones given are quite short and don't serve their purpose. :sweat:

btw deanz, is your #plate FY6996? I saw an '07 along philips st at about 6:15pm twice already.

Yups, I replaced the pilot lights to red LED ones.

I not daring as to turn it on in spore, there's a switch for it. :cheeky:
