Replacement of clutch gasket of vtec 1 is important ? why not just replace the friction disks only ? thanks for reply

The clutch housing gasket will tear when the clutch housing is being removed for replacement of clutch friction disks. If the torn clutch housing gasket is being used back, there is no guarantee that engine oil will not leak. Hope that clarifies.

Its a gasket that prevent leakage of engine oil when the clutch housing cover is being closed back.

The clutch housing gasket will tear when the clutch housing is being removed for replacement of clutch friction disks. If the torn clutch housing gasket is being used back, there is no guarantee that engine oil will not leak. Hope that clarifies.

Finally made my trip to this shop today after asking a lot of questions to its boss Kelvin through this forum. I really want to recommend this place to all u ppl, not only because of the good works they done, but also these:

 

1. Friendly environment: Big & Clean Workshop, there's table and chairs for you to rest and a bottle of complementary mineral water offered by boss Kelvin, and it's chilled:P

 

2. Good mechanic names "Ah Kee", without take a break for 2 hrs he skip his lunch but done all these jobs for me: change/balance both tires, flush radiator, change coolant, change engine oil, change spark plug, change rear brake disc/pads, change front/rear wheel bearings, change handle bar bearings, change brake hoses + bleeding.

 

3. The mechanic took a test ride of my bike after all the job done, and he washed the bike before handle it back to me.

 

4. The last and the most impressive: In order to clear the inside of coolant reservoir, the mechanic rode his bike away and came back with a small brush.

 

Definitely will go again.

I have to agree on that! Their service is always consistant ( Which is OUTSTANDING ) and it IS the place to get your bike serviced. Keep up the Great work! =)
