VENUE: Kallang Macdonalds

TIME: 1300hrs-1500hrs (I will be there at 1300hrs)

DATE: 18/12/04 (SATURDAY)

 

Will move off to East Coast at 1530hrs sharp for SBF Carnival.

and before i forget..

 

 

The SBF draw will be at 4pm (1600hrs) so lets not miss it!

 

NOTE: Please try not to wear shorts and slippers. Safety first.

To RVFians who goes M'sia frequently to get petrol.....

 

DO u guys experience your Temp gauge going to the 3/4 region during jams?

 

Ok sometimes during Long Qs i s/w off the engine to cool down but sometimes cannot as we have to 'squeeze' for space thru the rows of Q. And also Sometimes Traffic in M'sia side is quite bad till bikes oso slow down to a crawl.

 

went in about 3pm just now...biggest regret of my life! :sweat:

Bike temp stayed ar 3/4 for most of the time in the horrible traffic on Msia side..... than at S'pore customs i felt my bike's engine abit sputtery....like it doesnt wana rev up but after i let it cool down again by switching off the engine for 10mins, everything was fine.

 

I'm so worried my engine might be damaged from overheating! But i dun think so becoz Temp never went to red zone.

did anyone experience this before?

Previously i posted something about my batt and rectifier. I actually experienced the same thing that u have gone through today. I did the same by s/w my engine off too cool my baby down but it doesn't seem to help. My engine became kind of wierd as well. But after i let it cool for some time, it is fine again. So i assume its just maybe over heating and went home.

The very next day guess wat.......... :confused: i can't start my bike the starter switch just won't work. I did some checks and find out the horn and lights were ok, i have to jump start my bike just to get to the motor tiam.

Spend some money to get a new set of rectifier and a new batt. The connecter on my rectifer was burned and batt's dead due to no charging by the rectifier. :cry:

I think ur engine is ok la. But over heating of our baby is very bad for our rectifier...:nono: Correct me if i am wrong. :cheeky:

FAST BIKE DOESN'T MAKE U A FAST RIDER.

OMG..... saw on Channel U news.... a RVF collided with a toyota corolla on Lentor Ave... Rider died on the spot...from the TV coverage, the poor guy seems to sustain serious head injuries as alot of blood on the white cloth where his head is.

 

News reported the corolla braked and stopped because a bloody garbage truck stopped at the side of the road....but the RVF behind could not stop in time and rammed into the corolla.

 

 

 

Rest In Peace fellow rvfian and deepest condolences to his family and frens.

Hey guys,u all goin for the SBF carnival on Sat?But the lucky draw is on Sun.Shldn't u guys be goin on SUn if u want to take part in the lucky draw?Dun think Sat have any draw. Anyway pls ride with extra care during rainy weather as our braking distance will increase by quite a lot. Even though our brakes are more powerful, but our braking distance still lose to car therefore dun tailgate cars!:nono:

then can control the temp.

2 bad news.

 

Bad news 1; SBF lucky draw is on SUnday(19th dec) not Saturday.

small matter la, as if its so easy to tio.

 

Bad news 2; We are alone. No VFRs or STs are coming dispite my ambassadoring efforts. :sorry: guys.... I guess Force V4 will initially be made up of us rvfians.

 

:btw: where are all the NC30 riders? I know there are afew in the forum....ppl like ZULSKA....come and join us man! :smile:

 

Oso, anyone knows of your frens riding a V4, just pull them along too ok?
