Perhaps its time we got our own Group designation in our profile called "Force V4"

What do you all think? I will send the request to the moderators.

Also, can all of you guys who have taken pics please mail it to me at

[email protected]

I will send the pics to Force V4 Japan and hopefully we can see our pics displayed in the Japanese website.

Hey Tachi, its definitely a good idea!

Looking at SAturday's Major outing...its no wonder that the RVF thread is overflowing and becoming 2 threads.

It would be sooo much better if we can get our designated Bike Group under SingaporeBikes.Communities, just like the SingaporeBikes•PhantomKnights, SingaporeBikes•Cruisers,SingaporeBikes•CB400 Super Four......etc etc...

With our own space, we can keep things organised like the http://www.400greybikes.com where discussions are classified under General Discussions, Graphics and Style ( anything pertaining to outlook, exterior mods of bikes) and Workshop ( anything regarding DIY servicing). This way, newbies and present owners do not need to scroll thru all the 200 pages in a single RVF thread to dig the precious info they need.

Compare to S4 n phantoms, we r really lacking in numbers... y not just stick in tis ways... wat we can do is to make 1 thread as "technical discussion" e other for things like outing/misc.. if u wan a designated Bike Group in SBF, i think others will follow too (example, CBR400, GSX400, rem there's also alot of ppl riding these bikes) we dun hav to b tat "special"

Other alternative will b havin our own site which is tough... u nit some1 to maintain it too..

jus some views from me

of cos its better but its not realistic cos its wont happen... trust me

no harm trying though... i will gladly admit im wrong if a designated Bike Group for RVF is Up

Jus for some "history lesson"

there used to b a VFR grp

den alot of other bikes models riders wanna have a grp jus like them

cause quite a commotion then.. now i dunno where is e VFR grp..

i think they can b only view/post by those who register as VFR grp members

Hi everyone.

Okay, I guess its time to let you in on a little serect plan of mine. I intend to make a Web site under the banner of "Force V4 Owners' Club SG" Currently I am looking for someone to help me design this page. (probably Lacrimose, the only RS125 on Sat).

It will contain a rich data base of info about Honda, its V4 motorcycles and technical issues. There will also be a Japanese BBS style communication but its nothing like this SBF forum. I am not intending to draw the crowd from SBF, this is the place where bikers and enthusiasts can meet and talk to each other. However, the website will host all our major outings and lots of other info like used bikes (RVF, VFR) and commercial listings.

However, I cannot do this alone. I am limited in resources but rich in ideas. From the sheer number of enthusiasts that appeared, there must be some talant amongst us who can help contribute to the Force V4. We need event organisers, web masters, ride leaders and most of all riders with responsibility.

Geez...I am starting to sound like "Uncle Sam wants you".

But anyway, other ideas are Force V4 polo T shirts, stickers etc.

Relax guys, its too soon to ask for a private sticky group. I am only requesting that our tags underneath the alvatars be changed to "Force V4"....perhaps in the future when we are more active and promote SBF (just to be politically correct) perhaps the mods will grant us our own space.

On another note, I am thinking of setting up a website to host our events and info for everyone interestedi Honda bikes and V4 models.

But I cannot do this alone.

Anyone interested to contribute??

Woaa..... So if 24++ or more RVFs cannot constitute as a big enuff group, then how many does it take for the proposal to go thru?

Well.... i disagree with your statement about being "special" its unfair...and its definitely not about that la.

Lez all look at this objectively..though we may lack in numbers compared to the Phantoms and S4s, I am sure we are facing a problem now that the Phantoms or S4s were facing in the past when thier numbers started to grow in a rate that thier little thread couldnt keep up.

Just name another bike model thread (other than the boliaos one in Chatterboxes)now that has 200 pages and growing!?! That is excluding the Branch RVF thread at SPortsbikes section.

If this natural progression (imho) to get a our own Bike Group is seen as been trying to be "Special"....then i wonder what is the reason For SIngaporebikes.Communities to be set up?? Can i say all of them there are trying to be 'special' as well?

Ok..now if we agree on that point;

Bear in mind too...that CLUB Force V4 SG's goal is to include any and all bikes that runs a V4 engine in the future.....BUT with our recent lack of success in tryin to reel in the VFR and ST groups and also what u said from your past experience in SBF's political arena is true.... i think we can have a 3rd alternative.....

That is to gather all the Grey bikes under one group. the bikes u mentioned CBR400, GSX400...oso the 250s all are considered grey market bikes like our RVFs. I think with all of this in combo, we can petition.

In the meantime..... we may need to open up more threads for our growing numbers..which hopefully will not add to the messiness.

ahhhh...the solution!

If i had read this sooner, i wont have to write that ass-long essay on my last post. But i wil let it stay..just to highlight the little problem we are facing.

Anyhoo.... regarding the contributions.... I lack the IT skills for the web design and the directional sense as a lead rider but i am a little savvy in sketching and drawing.

Willing to help in anyway i could.

Relax bro... At the end of the day all clubs and group still depend very much on the majority. If ur suggestion is not supported by the rest then it will still go to a waste effort right??? So lets think of an alternative that works well and supported by the rest of the club Force V4 members. What Tachi was trying to mean is just to request our tags underneath the alvatars be changed to "Force V4" at the mean time. I find that its not a bad idea but still at the end of the day it still depend on the rest of the club members to support. Anyway we still have a lot of time to plan everything. Just some suggestion from me.

Oh i am trying to mean that setting up a club force v4 depend on the majority and if everybody is together and willing to try why not??? I am sure phantom knights and cbr400 etc... has gone through something like us in their initial stage. And of course it depends on the moderators regarding e TAG Taichi mention. I am just pointing out that it was a excellent idea... :cheeky: Maybe u got me wrong.. :sorry:

yea...double figures only 2 times...there were quite a few other outings with around 8 one time when u were in Brunie lah....

Oso.....our RVF pages would have hit 300 liao if not for the one time clean up and server down time in the middle of this year. I remembered our thread's pages were reduced back to 100 or so.

u guys left for other places after marina south? i am one of the 3 who went to play pool .. din realise u guys left until one of us went out to look. arr.. never call us. shay bo call me .. neh neh

it was a great outing with so many of you .. esp the attention we got ..

anyway, just a tot from myself. perhaps the next time we had such a huge turnout or any turnout in fact, the convoy leader should wait for all bikes to line up first b4 moving off. while on the road, the leader should move not too fast.. maybe 70-80 on the expressway and hafta consistently check back for stragglers. i know it's not easy but i guess if we really want to move as a group, the front guy should wait for the back guys. imagine u r in a road march and your oc tekan u all and march like he is running.. the last guys sure kena like hell right. and then hafta run like mad to catch up.likewise, the last few bikes might need to speed up and catch like mad which may be dangerous. besides, if we really moved as a convoy like we learn bike at training center.. we r safer as a group coz cars can't really eat into our lane.. tt day got one taxi die die also must eat into our lane and one of us was forced out.. tt's coz we had some holes in between..

just a tot that might make our outing more neat and more 'attention-seeking' and safer

cheers :cheer:

i got call jack , he say later going to jb and ask us wan to go or not :sian:

then do u think is easy to wait mah ... some of them take their own sweet time slowly ... and one things is we go on a big group sure kana stop so we had to spilt into small group to prevent it.... ( hope u understand no offence  ) we are not like harley recongised in sgp they can go in a group

i know u wan to practice like army style ... but on road is different things

Well said Ghostrider... until we can ever be recognised, we have to be careful when we go out in a group. 6 bikes max in one small group is the best on the road at the moment. At least we won't road hog too.

We can operate like a professional group and ride en masse convoy or route march style. In fact on Sat I wanted to talk about this but I figured if I did that, most of the riders might be scared away. But I was impressed when we went out of East Coast on the coastal road, automatically everyone was in staggered formation and moving at a reasonable pace. Watching from behind, it was a sight to behold, almost precision like. I see no reason why Force V4 cannot one day become like the "bang bang Harley group" (no offence to HD riders).

In essence, while riding in convoy is stylo mylo, we have to consider that our road behaviour doesn't upset the flow of traffic especially with impatient Sinagporean drivers.

Agreed? :dot:

well .. what u all said is true la .. i understand.

so when can we be recognized? if we dun try some convoy movement somehow someday, nobody is gonna be sure that we r a safe group right.. so next time we shall have smaller group convoy with a convoy leader each to control the movement.. tt would be a good start ...
