I see your enthusiasm, but patience my friend. Everything has to be done in baby steps. Not everyone will think or is willing to do the same thing as you or some of us. The first step is to slowly introduce the ideas and find people of the same wavelength. This sort of excecise takes a lot of dicipline and practice. But even then, the general public may not be ready for it. So we have to weigh both sides of the scale and perhaps make modifications to the way we could do convoy riding.

 

It may take a long time to achieve this but we have to be paitient.

I'm not worked up. Imagine me saying all those in a Pissed but joking way. Esp the "Neh Neh you head!" hahahaha......

 

But re read your complains....was yr statement fair to me or anyone else present at the Marina South? My opninion is no lor.. and Ghost did try to contact one of u.

Regarding the Convoy thingy....sure i agree its good to ride in formation. But sometimes its neccessary to break the Convoy up into smaller groups...especially in small roads and filter lanes.

 

And yes ,road etiquette is something we need to build on if we are to be a recognised and legitimate club one day.

The way the public or other bike groups perceives us is by the way we behave on the road.

So conclusion is....

 

1) Convoy is good, coz it's safer and bring everybody to the destination

 

2) Convoy difficult to implement in such a big group, split the bigger group into smaller groups for convoys

 

3) Cannot go too fast when in convoy mode

 

4) Everyone in the convoy should know abt the staggered formation etiquette, don't overtake, keep safe distance from one another

 

vroom : Issit coz u got overtook by another guy in the convoy, thats why you got so much to say? hehe.... I rem on the ECP, someone overtook you quite abruptly, he wave to say sorry, but you nvr acknowlede leh....hehe

Pple like ken, dlm, ise.... get tua gua now very tao liao.... dont wanna come out with us liao.... hehe

Taichi : If you want the Vforce logo thing.... maybe you can go to benson's sticker shop....

Wah!Say we dao... :slapforehead: I could not make it that day as I have something on during the daytime.But at nite I got meet up wif Shay hor.Anyway I have meeting up wif some of the guys quite often too for petrol at 2nd link.Why u dun join us?Must be u r the one that is dao....:cheeky:

so tt night u guys nv get to watch the zhou xing chi show right..

i ended up gg to somewhere in tuas link side to makan where there is this big projector screen and under the night sky .. cool place man.

 

so when u guys gg for petrol..haven' been able to link up with u all for coming to 2 mths plus liao leh

has anyone tried inverting gearing with their rvf. kick up for first and subsequently step down to increase gear. done it on my tzm before. it is easier to change gear.
