:goodluck:

haha..definitely man. WanNavaro, you should do a Search on the topic. Many threads about this pop out before. All talk about the same tiring subject over and over and over and..... so u get the idea... go check those threads out for the answer you want as you'll get unbiased and sometimes biased opinions.

Here, you'll only get biased opinions. Coz all are V4 fanatics. Period.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

To the Older guys, newer guys, Ex rvfians...

Like i mentioned before, since we got 2 threads now..we should segregate the them base on posting contents. This is to prevent the mess, double-postings and reduce confusion while our very own Force V4 forum is currently been set up.

As such, The alternatibe RVF thread that i mentioned under SPortsbikes section will be for posting all OUTINGS/GAtherings annoucements. So do watch that thread space to see if there is a outing coming up.

Its also used for posting any matters in regards to Force V4 CLub so Minimal chatting can still be tolerated.

This thread here will be reserved for technical discussions like it was originally meant to be.

Becoz beside the pages of useless mindless chattings that a user must filter thru, there are also important and useful archives of techincal discussions and info stored here.

Post here for any questions, comments on technical Issues, Parts pricing, motordiam servicings and such.

So lez try to cooperate and stop mindless chatting in this thread (talking cork, :offtopic: , :spam: ) for obvious reasons...... what page are we at now? hmmm.......

I think your mech meant the 2 rubber pieces for the tank right?

RVFs have 2 pieces of rubber on each side of the tank to stablelize and dampen vibrations.

Without the 2 rubbers, your tank might be a bit wobbly.

Also, unscrew the 2 screws located underneath the back of the front seat, remove the screws and remove the rider's seat. Check the big bolt that is securing the tank to the bike's chasis, make sure its properly tightened.

As for Fork Servicing;

i dunno what your mech did but when i did mine, fork seals, fork oil were changed, both forks were dismanteled down to its valves and springs for cleaning before reassembling. All for $120.

So if your mech just change fork seals, and top up oil for $80..i think you should not go back there again.

Nope!

I wouldnt have anything good to say about that shop.

i went to my usual mech. Although it took 6 hours for the job to be done! but i saw him cleaning every nook and cranny of the forks internals.

Turns out not only me, a rvfian here and his gang used to patronise that shop u mentioned too but after awhile, all never go back liao.

U know why! ;)
