Based on Yammy Euro site, its 1k euro cheaper than FZ8. FZ8 I believe OTR is 22k in SG. Guess u could reverse calculate from there & compare to the Triumph.

Hi Bro, I no expert lah. Just happen to read here & there. Usually price diff for naked & half faired is about $500. My guess is 22.5k OTR excl insur.

To some extent yea. Guess Yammy could be compromising their profit margin in doing so. Fight for more market share & aim to be seen as a big player (leader) in the industry like honda. But FZ8 does have aluminium frame too & 1 cyl more...haha.

 

The MT07 is reported at 180kg wet. 75hp, parallel twin/staggered firing order which would make the similarly powered XJ6 at 205kg overweight

too.

 

Could be smart at Yammies end, while Lorenzo is dominant & Rossi seems to be like in twilight years liao, commonly coming in at 4th. ( Rossi's curent contract ending end of 2014 season?) Good for Yammy to market their stuff while the "rossi" brand name is strongly associated with them & still in action.

 

So in future, just like Honda's unique selling point (USP) = V4, so Yammy is Triple ? haha.

ahah..only ridden the bike for 10km..lol. So far, 2 cons that I encounter. Dont like the heat although its bearable(perhaps cause still new & its my 1st cls 2 bike) & the suspension is too bouncy for me(gonna do some adjustment once hit 1st service). Other than that, love the rest especially the engine :)

The heat is normal with a class 2 bike...

 

Our city riding will only make it worst, haha... Need to "release" it more on expressway to cool down the beast..

and the pros and cons too!

currently still running-in & already hit ard 350km. didnt really checked the FC but believe it should be ard 17km\L. Will check again once hit 1st service.

just curious... you can hit 350km and FC abt 17km/L,

means the fuel tank is 20L and abv??? o_O

lol..misinterpret the msg actually. Im still running-in & the bike has only hit ard 350km so far for the total mileage. Nothing to do with the FC..ahah
